Hate To Lose That Smile - Tobias Killem - 01-01-2012

Miss MacCarthaigh,

Despite the interest beginning to our little tea time, I found myself thoroughly enjoying your company. Once back at the Hogwarts castle, I wondered when I would be able to see you again, but unfortunately if our paths have taken this long to cross I fear we may have to interfere in order to make them cross again. Since we still haven't been officially introduced I would be reluctant to call on you at home, but perhaps we could meet in Hogsmeade again?

I would hate to distract you from your family during the holiday season, so consider this an invitation for the New Year. I hope your Christmas is a very merry one. Will you perhaps be attending the traditional New Year festivities? There was rumor of a ball to be include this year, which would be an excellent place for us to "meet."

Also, did you ever finish that sketch? I've never been the subject of art before (at least not knowingly), and I would be quite curious to see how it turned out. Do you ever make moving portraits, as well?

Sincerely,
Tobias Killem

Mr. Killem,

Your letter has been a lovely ray of sunshine in this extremely snowy world. It is most unfortunate that our paths have not crossed again, I too have been wondering if I would be seeing you again. I'm afraid my house is not a lovely place to call, I would not subject you to that. I will however be attending the New Year's Eve Ball. I would look forward to spending at least part of it in your company.

I hope your holidays have been most enjoyable as well. I have almost put the finishing touches on your sketch. I will send it to you when it is finished.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,
Ainsley
