The portrait of Minister Darcy Potter was finally unveiled in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement yesterday, and it was more interesting than a regular portrait. It appears that Mr. Jonathan Sparrow, the artist, decided to portray Minister Potter as a pirate.

Captain Darcy Potter comes complete with a ship, pirate princess named Ellie, and the suggestion of a kraken. To say that those in the audience were 'surprised' was a bit of an understatement, and many seemed to be trying very hard to keep a straight face, especially because Captain Potter immediately burst into a rousing sea shanty.

Regardless of tastefulness, the portrait will certainly make life in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement more interesting.
