Witch Weekly in Flames
Desperate Debutante Starts Blaze |
If you subscribe to the weekly publication, you may have noticed that there were no copies sent out yesterday! Sources say that Miss Amity Follansbee, who according to last week’s issue of Witch Weekly tried to storm their office once already, succeeded this week in starting a fire in the back of the building. It was only after a sizeable fire had consumed a portion of the building that Miss Follansbee emerged from out back to the front of the building, cackling maniacally. “It was most disturbing!” A nearby onlooker said of the spectacle. “That girl has lost her mind!” Said another. Eyewitnesses say once they noticed the smoke, help was called in, but even with magic the blaze was too enormous to fully extinguish before it took out a large portion of the building. _____________________________________________________________ |
Miss Follansbee has been taken into custody and awaits charges. “She needs help!” Her mother, Mrs. Samantha Follansbee pleaded. “She needs to be committed and rehabilitated, not sent to rot away in prison!” None of the Witch Weekly staff were injured in the blaze, though a few of the first-responders were treated for burns suffered during the taming of the flames. No word yet on how long it will take to rebuild and for publication to resume. AUTHOR: Ian Pengloss |
