AURORS ROUND-UP VILLAINS
SUCCESS AT LAST FOR MR DE MONTFAULT |
A urors have arrested four new suspects in relation to a secret organisation of alchemists, first brought to the attention of the office with the arrest, and we are told, assistance of Miss Ida Green. All four of the new detainees are accused of practicing dark magic in the hopes of achieving immortality by way of creating a Philosopher’s Stone. Of those arrested Mr. Gregory Black, 35, a labourer – who has no relation to the esteemed society family – Miss. Verity Craddock, 46, a cook, and Mr. Nathan Clarke, 22, a groom, all reside in the Jarrow are of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and were all named in the journal of Mr. Schroeder, a mysterious figure who, along with his daughter Miss Ida Green, has been in Ministry custody for some time and has been subject to interrogation ever since. The three resided in the same house and there is evidence that they have been using the home of their employers - whom we courteously will keep anonymous - to cover up their wicked interests with respectability. _____________________________________________________________ |
The fourth arrested suspect was a Mr. Vincent Ransome, a name that may come as a surprise to many who have passed through the once trustworthy wards of St. Mungo's Hospital as the ersatz gentleman, 46, has been a fixture of the Magical Bugs ward for decades! How he escaped detection all this time is a question for St. Mungo's to put to themselves but one hopes the aurors have caught him before he was able to use his position of trust for insidious purposes. Following a rather patchy start for the new head of the Auror office things seem to be looking up for Mr De Montfault who commented after the successful arrests: "I have faith that the auror office will put all those vile men in prison soon." Here's hoping he is proven correct! As is well known the only legitimate creator of the Philosopher’s Stone is Mr. Nicolas Flamel, the noted alchemist who resides in Devon with his wife Perenelle. The couple are in no way affiliated with the organisation and Mr. Flamel has denounced such unethical practices in the past, however he was unavailable to comment upon recent events as he was attending a flower show in Bourton-on-the-Water.
