The Brownhill twins were sat across from one another in the library, something that was probably a bit disorienting to anyone who had not yet met them. Teddy had her Charms textbook - the bane of her existence - opened in front of her, but was not particularly focusing on it. There were only two days until they got to go home! She was almost violently excited, although she hadn't packed at all yet. She got to see everyone again! Being home for the election had hardly counted, Papa and Mama were so nervous.

Of course, then there were the election results.

Abruptly, she asked her sister the question she could not get off her mind: "Do you think Mama's upset still?"

Mixed emotions had been rushing through Tia's mind since it had been announced that her mother had not been elected Minister for Magic. She really wanted her Mama to be happy, but at the same time she'd been afraid of what could happen if Mama had been elected. She didn't wanna be like the Urquart twins, always being judged by the public and having their troubles revealed; and with a female minister like Mama, all the mean people would pick on her and her family!

"I do," she confirmed solemnly, looking up from her Potions textbook to nod at her sister. "I mean, she tried so hard to get elected. I think I would be upset if I didn't win. It's not like she can just, you know, try again tomorrow," she explained.

"No," Teddy said, her voice laden with something like remorse, "It's not." Her mother would not get another shot, probably - which was horribly dissappointing. Mama should have been Minister; no one cared as much as she did.

"But that Ross man is supposed to be - good, I think."

Tia didn't really know what to think about having Mr. Ross as their minister. His beliefs didn't seem too far off from Mama's, and he was friend's with the former Minister, but that still left other questions. "He probably won't help women like Mama would. He's still a man," he sighed, flipping through her book. "But at least he's not like that Flint or Dawlish man. They would've hurt us real bad, don't you think?"

Teddy shrugged. "You didn't really want Mama to win anyways," she said, "So."

Tatianna's head immediately snapped up and a frown settled on her face. "That's not fair, Teddy," she whined. She didn't want Mama to lose; she just didn't want their whole lives to change and hectic if Mama won! "I did want Mama to achieve her dreams. I was just scared of our family being targets."

Teddy was, she knew, being unfair. She looked down at her homework and kicked her legs.  "It's not like a werewolf bit Miss Urquart on purpose."

"I know that," she whined, "But - uh - what if it had inspired someone to send werewolves after us? I hope that Minister Ross keeps a good eye on his children..." she sighed, peeking up at her sister with worried eyes.
