Charming is a Victorian Era Harry Potter roleplay set primarily in the village of Hogsmeade, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the non-canon village of Irvingly. Characters of all classes, both magical and muggle — and even non-human! — are welcome.

Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
1861 — Angus Tasgall MacFusty is born, the tenth addition to the ever growing MacFusty clan.
1862 — Two more MacFustys are arrive though they are stillborn. Angus is too young to know and remains the baby of the family.
1863 — Angus shows his very first signs of magic when he makes his toy dragon breath fire.
1864 — Mungo is born.
1865 — Gusgus gets a sister.
1867 — Gus decides he's going to be a dragon when he's grown up and develops a habit of pretending to roar and throw himself at people's legs which he proceeds to bite. This phase lasts roughly six months during which no one's ankles are safe.
168 — Gusgus begins his quidditch phase having gotten his hands on a toy broomstick. He takes especial glee in pretending he's a dragon while hovering off the ground on it.
1869 — Now eight years old, Gusgus decides he no longer wants to be a dragon but a dragon tamer so he can be 'King of the Dragons' as he puts it.
1871 — The last child, Robert, is born into the MacFusty clan. Gusgus isn't particularly interested as he's so young, he's far more interested in his turn to go to Hogwarts and join his brothers already there.
Hogwarts Years
1872 — Gusgus is hugely excited to finally get his Hogwarts letter. Like much of his family, he finds himself sorted into Gryffindor.
1873 — Being a second year, Gusgus is now allowed to try out for the Quidditch team and he does so at the first opportunity. He succeeds in holding a place as beater.
1874 — Gusgus entertains his first crush on a girl two years older than him. He works up the courage to express his feelings for her and is rejected.
1875 — Gusgus is caught out in the Forbidden Forest at night and after a few more bad run ins with rules, he is temporarily banned from playing Quidditch until he can stay out of detention for at least a month.
1876 — Furious that he's not allowed to play Quidditch, he begins acting out even worse. His grades begin to suffer as a result but he doesn't much care. Malvina joins him and Mungo at Hogwarts. He is still acting out and is no longer able to get back on the team as his place is filled.
1877 — Angus does awfully on almost all of his OWLs. He scores an O in Care of Magical Creatures and an E in Defense Against the Dark Arts. The rest of his grades are considerably worse. Gusgus decides to finish up his schooling having considered dropping out over summer. He picks up his game a little and keeps up with Care of Magical Creatures, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions and Ancient Runes.
After Hogwarts
1879 — Gusgus finishes up his Hogwarts education with better NEWTs than expected. Gusgus decides he wants to keep dragons rather than be a hunter like older brothers, Tor and Tav. Much to his great annoyance he is given charge of a very old, very cranky female by the name of Gertrude the Grumpy. Determined not to wimp out, he reluctantly deals with the old hag of a dragon.
1880 — Gus is very defensive about Grumpy Gertie - though he constantly complains about her to his family, he won't let anyone else do so. He has built an almost marital bond with his dragon based on his keeping her under control and her trying to maim him. It's probably not the healthiest of relationships.
1881 — By this time, Gusgus is rather reclusive. Gertrude, though old, makes a lot of work for him and his interests don't deviate that far from keeping her order. His younger brother, Mungo, is seriously injured by a young dragon resulting in the loss of his arm.
1883 — Gertie has a particularly spirited rampage and burns most of Gus's hair off as well as his eyebrows. He is not impressed. He gets very drunk one evening and loses his virginity to a male half veela he mistook for a female. He pretends this never happened. In November, the most shocking thing happens and Gertie turns out to be a human. A female human. With nowhere else to go, Gus takes her in. He hooks up with Threnody Mohr.
1884 — Robert dies. Gertie, also known as Wren, is still living with him. He takes over the care of two young dragons in place of Gertie.
Presently
Gus is still residing with Wren and keeping care of his two rather aggressive, young, fire-breathing charges.
