"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
To brew, heat cauldron to one hundred and fifty degrees. Stir in the crushed bicorn horn and potass clockwise for two stirs, then let simmer for three minutes. Next, add the mandrake roots and stir counterclockwise five times, then let simmer for two minutes. Then add the peppermint extract, stir once clockwise, and let simmer for five minutes. Add honey and serve immediately.

Hospital Holiday Fundraiser This charitable event, hosted by Mrs. Rufina Mulciber and the Ladies’ of Hogsmeade Society for the Well-Being of Our Well-Being, was as charming as it was well-intentioned, boasting a number of reputable guests and a winter theme which enchanted all attendees. Tickets were priced at five galleons each—a bargain according to most present who praised the host and her fellow philanthropists for their dedication to raising funds for such a worthy cause—though employees of St. Mungo’s were all extended personal invitations to the festive fundraiser.
The hospital fundraiser, which took place on the eve of December 4th, featured an ice-rink in place of a ballroom, and an enchanted ceiling gave the illusion of falling snow and a spectacular Christmas tree, decorated with various instruments, provided guests with musical entertainment throughout the night. A large hearth and delicious hot cider and gingerbread added to the festive atmosphere.
The hostess herself, of course, was in attendance, as well as Mrs. Mulciber’s sister, Mrs. Annabelle Bones—a healer in her own right—who was spotted enjoying a warm conversation with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Demetria Longbottom. Miss Ellory Pendergast was also present and, thankfully, appeared to be entirely unharmed after the recent incident in Irvingly which saw her transformed into an albatross. The future Mrs. Felix Prewett, Miss Darcey Umbridge, was also spotted navigating the ice with a friend.
My husband and I have been married for nearly four years now, and we have not yet been blessed with children. We have tried everything, including fertility potions. All my life, I've dreamed of becoming a mother--how do I find meaning now when it seems to be impossible?
Sincerely,
Sad and Childless
Dear Childless,
Though motherhood is surely the greatest occupation any woman can obtain, it is, alas, not the fate of everyone. I would first like to caution you, however, that not all fertility potions are entirely safe! Some are reported to be reasonably effective, but others should be avoided entirely.
That said, perhaps helping others will help you to fill that void. Charity is always noble, regardless of circumstances, and may help you find that much sought after meaning.
Also, keep trying! Many women have faced the same problem as you are now, only to find themselves with child later on!
