Angry was an understatement on what she felt. She was furious. It wasn’t fair how Miss Woodcroft got to win the round, take points and get away with maiming her. The slytherin didn’t want to direct her anger at the older girl, Miss Woodcorck probably didn’t mean to burn her but she did have other choices. The gryffindor could have given her rainbow colored hair and still win.

She didn’t even want to take a look at her reflection. She knew just by the feeling how badly her hands and the half of her face were burnt. No amount of numbing cream would help ease her pain.  How was she going to face her classmates after this? Vainness was not a trait of hers but she did take pride on having good genes and being pretty enough. Now, she just look hideous.

After a good cry, she fell asleep under the covers only to be woken up by someone calling her. “What!?” she asked grumpily, still hiding her face using the sheets.

While the Slytherin fifth year was beyond furious, Emmeline was beyond ashamed. She felt awful for what had happened, actually blasting the other girl with flames never having been her intention. And though some had warned her against visiting the other girl in the hospital wing, she found she couldn't stay away. Not until she'd had a proper chance to apologize. Whether Miss Lynch accepted it or not was unknown though she could hardly blame her if she refused to.

She hadn't gone straight to the hospital wing, having had to finish out the tournament, but she'd also taken to the art room quickly to paint the girl a small painting. With the simple, yet colorful, landscape tucked under her arm, she went into the hospital wing and quickly found the girl she'd caused harm to.

Wincing at the girl's harsh tones after she'd called out to her, she stood a bit meekly at the foot of the bed. "Miss Lynch," she said again, bracing herself for what may come while also trying to build the courage to remain there, "I just.." There was a pause as she fought back tears though it would be evident she'd already cried some as her eyes were red and a touch swollen. "I just wanted to come apologize," she finally managed to say, her gaze focused solely at the ground, "I'm sooo sorry!"
