Gradually it became her skin. Then she could not take it off.
Childhood
January 1870 | Cornelia Tullia Lestrange is born the fourth child and second daughter to Lucius and Alexandria Lestrange. New Years 1873 | A sister, Seneca, is born and even as a toddler Tullia is discontent with her presence. This sets a rather defining tone for their relationship. August 1875 | Her cousin, Tiberius, becomes her father's ward after his own father is sent to prison. Tullia is rather intrigued by the arrival of her cousin, and for a time he is treated as a favored brother. October 1875 | In a fit caused by a mudblood, Tullia expresses magic for the first time by upending the girl. Her pride in showing magic is overshadowed only by the admonishment for such a public display. February 1876 | She begins lessons on the pianoforte, just as would be typical for a young lady of her station. These are added to her already started academic studies and etiquette lessons provided by her governess. September 1877 | Cassius goes off to Hogwarts and this is the year that Tullia resolutely decides that she wishes to be a Hufflepuff when it is her turn to go, for her mother is a Hufflepuff and childhood has seen her closest to her mother than any other family member. July 1881 | This month she is informed of her betrothal to her cousin William - the second son of her favorite aunt, Olivia. She has always been fond enough of her cousin in their interactions, and his being a Hufflepuff like her mother only cements her desire to join that house when her Hogwarts letter comes by the end of the month.
Hogwarts
First Year | Her arrival to Hogwarts is something of an excitement for Tullia, who has always enjoyed books and studies and more solitary, academically inclined ventures. The Sorting Hat atop her head thinks first to place her in Slytherin, but her strong desire to join her mother and betrothed's house lands her in Hufflepuff just as she had initially desired. She finds her footing swiftly enough at Hogwarts, doing well in most all of her classes at least and excelling entirely in Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts. She finds interest in magical theory and ancient magicks early on, interests that will lend to a more solitary school life with minimal friends. Second Year | By her second year, she is already beginning to develop in more womanly ways. She begins to realize more that her prettiness and early blooming is something of a privilege which she can use to her advantage - not that she really needs one. Because of her recently begun venture in womanhood, she finds herself keen to get to know her betrothed - who she has always fancied to an extent - and before long she is quite convinced that she will grow to be his loving wife. She most looks forward to this. Academically, the year brings more inquisitiveness from her and she manages to get a note permitting her to read from the Restricted Section. A theoretical interest in the Dark Arts is born then and her love of ancient studies blossoms ever further. She is quite certain that she will excel in the class when she can take it in her next year. Third Year | Rather early in the year, an upperclassmen takes interest in her. Ignatius Wilde and Tullia do not get off on the right foot, but it isn't long before the annoyance turns to some twisted fun which in turn moves on to become fondness. The two become rather more close than either can expect and when - in November - she is told her life is about to change, they already have their own secret meeting place away from the world. Due to mistakes on the part of her formerly-admired betrothed, Tullia is to leave Hogwarts during the Christmas break and never to return. In anger at being made to leave Hogwarts for the mistake of William - especially after having created a notable bond of her own - Tullia and William begin corresponding. She demands to know what his misstep is and when she finds out she is rather quick to send him a howler, followed swiftly by a letter cursed to cause rashes all over his body. When she relays this news of her engagement to Ignatius (who she calls Nate in intimacy), the pair realize that perhaps their feelings are not purely platonic. A disagreement follows which causes Tullia to leave and the two are reconciled only barely and briefly shortly before December starts. When the two share their first kiss with each other, Tullia knows that leaving will be even more difficult and the two youngsters attempt to come to grips with the loss of their bond which was comprised of friendship and youthful infatuation.
Post-Hogwarts
December 1883 | Newly engaged, Tullia spends Christmas at Lestrange Manor with her vast array of extended family, sulking mostly and being petulant towards her intended at every turn. The fondness she felt for him was swiftly soured in her mouth and despite his attempts to be amiable she is intent that he know the full extent of her discontent. January 1884 | Early in the month it becomes apparent - through letters - that her closeness to Ignatius will not last past her impending marriage. Throughout the month she tries to write only to find a sense of knowing that their friendship is soon at an end. At home, her mother is excitedly planning her wedding while her sister and even cousin only barely hide their amusement at her predicament. On the 22nd - a mere four days after her birthday - she becomes Mrs. Cornelia Pendergast and the pair embark upon a honeymoon to Italy in which they are both rather uncomfortable and displeased. February 1884 | Alexandria meets an untimely demise by her own stupidity. The details are not something she is let privy to and while Tullia rather thought her mother a silly, frivolous annoyance in recent years, she is saddened to lose the one person whose approval and love she had always readily received. Mourning her is a necessity and while she does not begrudge her mother for dying, she is rather displeased to be stuck in black for the foreseeable future. May 1884 | An eventful month, Tullia is witness to a stabbing of a lower class woman. The woman survives and both she and Tullia are aided by Mr. Alexei Volkov through the entire ordeal - one which Tullia finds to be distressing if only because her favorite dress is stained with blood. Later in the month while out at the park with Seneca, the two are approached by a rather disgusting creature of a man who takes it upon himself to expose his manhood to the two. In a rage at his leering at her baby sister and indecency, Tullia propels the man away with magic and ushers her sister to safety, an experience that bonds them closer together. June 1884 | After much convincing, she and William consummate their marriage in June. Though she is not so eager for such a thing, she will be damned if she'll not provide her husband an heir as any wife should. After all, what point is there to being a wife if not to provide children for her husband? She is smug enough, though, that she has succeeded in getting Will to agree to letting her perform what she perceives to be her duty. September 1884 | Her August suspicions are proven correct in this month - Tullia is with child and while there is a fear of the whole ordeal - what with no mother to guide her through it - she is proud that it took little effort for her to become with child. This bodes well, she believes, and she hopes it is a boy so that she may further feel the pride of doing her wifely duties properly. January 1885 | At the beginning of the month, Tullia gives birth prematurely to a child born without breath in its lungs. Had the babe survived, it would have been a son and despite never having life outside her womb, she is thoughtful in naming him Tacitus Godric Pendergast. The trauma of childbirth leaves Tullia physically weak and while bedridden she finds herself falling into a depression. William is nowhere to be found and Tullia spends her days in emotional agony over a child she had thought she hadn't wanted. February 1885 | Towards the middle of the month, Tullia is finally permitted to leave her bed. While still weak, she tries regardless to push herself to some sense of normalcy. Will finds her one day in the library, the first time since her untimely labor, and in a rush of emotions Tullia breaks down and cries on him. Perhaps the first time since they wed, she feels something for William other than resentment. August 1885 | She runs into Ignatius. The run-in is brief enough with idle chatter strained on both their parts but it shakes Tullia to her core. A sad sort of nostalgia follows her for days after as he remains fresh on her mind. She is uncertain how she feels - after all, time had dulled much, but it could not dull the memories of how dear he'd once been to her. Still, she tries to push it all aside for even if she knew her feelings on it all, it would scarcely matter. She is a married young lady and their is no future in which the pair can associate with one another in any capacity. November 1885 | William comes to her with a surprise this month: another cat, a companion for Flavius. Though confusion as to why she has been gifted with such a precious creature, Tullia feels the closest to affection for her husband that she has since before she'd been pulled from Hogwarts to marry him. In an act of sentimentality for that feeling - that she positively refuses to acknowledge - she names the shorthaired cat Capria after Capri, Italy - a place they visited on their brief honeymoon.

— Tullia likes to fire any of the staff that she perceives to be pretty because she does not trust Will. This is an exceptionally petty thing she does for fun. — Tullia has an affinity for felines in more than just loving them as pets. Cats tend to like her inherently and if there is one creature in the world she never has to work to charm, it would be a cat. Because of this, cat breeding is beginning to be something she does because #yolo. Trivia Agnostic

Education & Magic 1881 - 1888 Clubs | N/A Electives | Ancient Studies, Arithmancy, Study of Ancient Runes Extra-Curriculars | Art, Music Classes | Ancient Studies Magically competent, Tullia is rather good at curses and hexes and the like as well as typical charms of use. Though well versed enough in most forms of magic, her personal times is devoted mostly to reading of magical theory and ancient magics as she finds most intrigue in the past. Though she never finished her Hogwarts career, her days since marriage have been spent mostly in search of magical knowledge on her own.
