Appearance: Sofia has youthful looks, even for fifty five. Her eyes, like her daughters, are a startling Amber, and her skin a lovely soft grey, like her family, and is also scaled like a fish. Her lips are a normal size, and a nice shade of green as well. Her hair is the same dark green, and flows down her back. Her tail, fully developed and rather long, is a lovely silvery blue, being more silver than blue. She is rather long for a Mermaid, and is of full size.

History: Being the only child of a now long dead past Merchieftainess and her mate, Sofia was soon pushed in line to be the next leader of the Black Lake Clan. It took a few years for Sofia to adjust, to get used to ruling over the clan. But sooner or later, she soon adjusted. She didn't like speaking of her childhood much. She was just the pampered single child of the Leaders of the Clan, whose other attempts at children had failed.

Being the Merchieftainess was difficult at first. But eventually, she got the best mate she could ask for, the one the whole Lake was after. Now beginning to settle down, Sofia thought it best to begin having heirs. The first was Kyriake. Sofia, at first, thought it was amazing. But as she grew up, she was taking a path that Sofia didn't like. She preferred hunting to learning to rule, which really quite annoyed Sofia. Aikaterine followed, and soon the son and the remaining two daughters. Sofia finally had the family she wanted.

But now as she grows older, she knows that she needs her heir to be ready. For all she knows, she could step down in the next few years. She believes that Kyriake is a very promising future Merchieftainess, but she believes she is too centred on her hunting. Shebelieves that Aikaterine is too ambitious, and the others are far too young. She isn't sure what to do, or how to deal with it. What on earth is she going to now?

Personality: Wise, Patient, slow to anger but takes a while to calm down, caring, loving, loyal, sometimes pushes her luck, doesn't see the line at times, gentle. (dabbling so I can develop her later on)

Boggart: Seeing her daughters argue over the spot of leader, or seeing her family tumble. She is terrified that her family is going to fall apart, so she often sees this in a Boggart.

Amortentia: Seaweed, the sea air, coral, well prepared fish.
