Appearance:

• Still appearing youthful with few wrinkles and very little gray hair in his ginger-y hair... unless it's his beard that grows more gray than the rest of him. At five feet ten inches tall, Nathan is above average. He is of moderate build having played chaser during school. He dresses in a mix of wizarding and muggle fashion. Nate is right handed.

History:

• December 21, 1840 | Nathan is born the only son to the middle class Binns family.
  Summer 1846 | The five year old displays his first sign of magic.
  Summer/Fall 1852 | Nate gets his Hogwarts letter and when he arrives on September 1st he is sorted into Gryffindor.
  School Year 1854/55 | Nathan picks up Ghoul Studies and Ancient Studies as his electives. He also becomes a chaser for the Quidditch team.
  School Year 1856/57 | Nathan becomes a Prefect for Gryffindor. He makes top marks in his classes and proceeds to drop Herbology, and Astronomy after his OWL scores come in.
  School Year 1858/59 | Nate is disappointed that he does not become Head Boy but is happy he became Quidditch captain for his last year. He again gains top marks.
  June 1859 to August 1865 | Nate works in the spirit division at the Ministry. He meets his wife, Victoria, in 1863 and marries her in April 1864. After a hard and difficult pregnancy, Victoria gives birth to Walker Flynn (named after his maternal grandfather Flynn Walker) in March 1865. In August, he is offered a teaching position as a Ghoul Studies professor at Hogwarts which Nathan gladly accepts and starts teaching September 1865.
  September 1865- May 1884/Present-ish| Nathan teaches Ghoul Studies normally. 1870 comes around and his daughter Annie Jane is born, again after a difficult pregnancy for Victoria. Two years later, the Binns family welcomes the last child, Victor Cuthbert, and says goodbye to Victoria. Nathan mourns for the appropriate length of time, but he does continue work and wears mourning suits. In May 1884, the former head of Gryffindor announces his retirement and Nate is offered the position. He is excited to start the position in September.
