Appearance:

Standing at half an inch above five feet, Zinnia is on the short end of average. She has strikingly red hair and green eyes. Her skin is fair and usually unblemished. Her clothing is feminine, but still relatively practical, and she enjoys dressing like her twin. She is right handed.

History:

1866 — Zinnia Sage is born several minutes after her twin sister to muggle botanists Perry and Peggy Rowan. The twins are close from before their first moments of life, and as infants are frequently seen hugging each other in their shared bassinet.

1870 — The four year old twins are joined by a younger sister, Marigold.

1873 — A boy, Clover, joins the family.

1877 — At eleven, Aster and Zinnia are visited by Great-Uncle Will, who delivers letters of acceptance to a magic school. Perry is far more skeptical than his wife, as Peggy has heard rumors that magic occasionally crops up in her family. Both girls receive a red point siamese kitten to accompany them to school, and Zinnia names hers Parsnip because it sounds a bit like Parsley. They are both sorted into Hufflepuff, and excel immediately in Herbology.

1883 — Between her sixth and seventh years, Zinnia takes on a summer internship at St. Mungo's. Her twin, meanwhile, assists their parents on a research trip. Zinnia is left staying with Great Uncle Charles in Irvingly and absolutely miserable to be separated from her twin for the first time.

1884 — Upon graduation, Aster and Zinnia take up internships in the Potion and Plant Poisoning division of St. Mungo's. She is quickly very glad not to live in Hogsmeade, as plague and fire hit the village!

1885 — At the end of March, Zinnia is promoted to full healer.
