Rose was actually mildly intrigued by mixed-gender duels, and announced,  "Miss van Helsing may begin!" in a bright tone after going through the rules.

Well, she wouldn’t actually be dueling this time, something that Sephey would always feel just mildly disappointed about (and confused, because why call it a duel when it wasn’t actually a duel?), but she supposed dueling ornamentally wasn’t too bad either. There was a sort of creative freedom in way girls dueled that she liked, hence why she always signed up, regardless of her views on the matter.

After being bid to begin by Madam Bennett, Sephey curtsied to Mr. Yaxley before pulling out a white handkerchief and setting it on the floor. With any luck, the cotton material should transfigure into a graceful swan.
