Reports of strange behaviours, extra-spontaneous elopements, and supposed enchantments this month led to an investigation by the Improper Use of Magic office, and their findings have proved very sobering indeed: several batches of Honeyduke’s fudge have been tainted with the love potion Amortentia!

Investigators traced the source to fudge sold at Mr. Quincey Honeyduke’s World’s Wizarding Fair booth, which has been shut down for the remainder of the celebration.

“After learning about the contaminated fudge at our World's Fair stall, we have closed up the booth and discarded all of the fudge to be sold there,” Mr. Honeyduke said. “Likewise, our _____________________________________________________________

To apologize for the trouble, Honeyduke's will be holding a customer appreciation day on August 31st in which there will be free sweets, games with prizes, and snack bags for students headed back to school.”

Patrons are advised to send any purchased fudge to the Ministry of Magic for disposal and to absolutely NOT eat it! This is the second time in recent years that a widespread lacing of food with the love potion has occurred.
