Appearance:

A rather straightforward looking girl, she doesn't deviate from the expected Fontaine looks, supporting a mess of straight dirty blonde hair that fluctuates from light browns to blonde depending on the lighting of the room and blue-grey eye that is her only feature that really pops. She stands at a rather unimpressive five foot one though she supports the healthy expected weight for such height. She relies on a corset to give her the desired shape, as her frame tends towards the lighter side. She favors bolder dresses, not particularly ugly, but supporting patterns and cuts not normally considered popular, though she does it in such a way where it tends to draw good attention. She uses her wand with her right hand.

History:

1868 | Born the second daughter of Alfred and Grace Fontaine in Paris, France, the child wanted for little.

1870 | Her Uncle Peter passes away, making her mother the only living child of James Early, and an heiress.

1871 | A brother is born, the first, and he is named Alfred after both their father and their grandfather.

1872 | Grandfather James Early passes away, leaving her mother to inherit everything he owns - including a home in Berkshire, in which they relocate to due to it being far larger than their current home. At four, she has no issues with the move, though she does struggle with the fact she must now learn English.

1873 | Another sister joins the fray, and she is named Josephine.

1874 | Cousin Charlotte is born.

1876 | Gabrielle shows her first signs of magic by freezing a potrait that annoyed her.

1877 | Aunt Emilienne passes away this year. Gabby’s elder sister, Essie, starts Hogwarts this year and is sorted into Hufflepuff. Sister Frances is born.

1878 | Cousin Eloisa is born.

1879 | Gabby starts school this year and is sorted into Gryffindor, like a fair bit of her family. Uncle Pierre passes away.

1881 | At the start of her third year, Gabby adds on divination to her schedule. Her youngest sibling, and a second brother, Arthur is born.

1882 | Uncle John passes away, leaving his unmarried daughters in the care of his wife. Alfred starts schools.

1883 | Aunt Aurelie passes away, leaving Cousin Annette under the care of her grandmother. Her elder sister, Essie, marries.

1884 | Josephine starts school. As Gabby prepares for O.W.L.s, she makes plans to leave school and debut, however, tragedy strikes the family as the plague steals both her parents and her youngest two siblings, leaving the children orphans. As such, they are now to live with Grandmother Genevieve on breaks and summers. She decided to continue with her schooling rather than to debut as no one wishes to debut in the blacks of mourning. Essie becomes pregnant.
