My Dearest Boy,

I wanted to bring you with me very much but your father would not hear of it and I could not forgive myself if I disrupted your studies. It is ever so important now that you shall be starting Hogwarts in September.

Your handwriting is come along ever so nicely now, you shall have a fine hand when you are older. One day you shall travel the world without me and write me all your adventures.

I promise I shall make it up to you when I return. I shall bring you back all sorts of gifts, but most importantly I shall take you wand shopping early. How does that sound?
