    Mr. Grimstone,

I write in the hopes that business is going well, but not so well that you would not have time for a bit of a side project of sorts!

I intend to take a holiday on the continent with my family this summer, and it is my intention that we should fly, simply sending our luggage ahead of us as we go. While I have little enough doubt that my son and I can manage with ease, I am not certain that either Mrs. or Miss Gallivan is quite up to the long journey on their existing broomsticks—the former due to a lack of flying generally, and the latter due to the fact that her own broomstick is intended exclusively for quidditch, rather than long term comfort.

To that end, I inquire as to whether a set of four individually customized brooms might be commissioned, intended for long distance flying. Our excursion would most likely occur in mid-July.

    With regards,

    Nathaniel G. Gallivan

    Mr. Gallivan,

I certainly do have time, and indeed will always be pleased to facilitate family flying holidays!

They will likely bear most resemblance to, of my standard broom models, the Oakshaft, sturdy enough for the distance but with a view for both comfort and safety. If measurements of height are sent along, I will also be able to customise each broom to exact individual requirements.

[Insert sentence about the proposed price per broomstick and when it is to be paid lalala MJ doesn't know anything about reasonable broomstick prices or indeed, business]. Do let me know if that is acceptable.

If this suits, I shall endeavour to have the four completed by late May - or early June at the latest - so that you and your family may have opportunity to test them first in the case of adjustments needing to be made, and equally to gain familiarity with flying them prior to your trip.

If all is agreeable, I shall begin work on them upon your confirmation.

    Kind regards,

    Elias Grimstone

/totally lost the tab I had this open in and forgot it existed, pretend Elias is much more prompt than I!

    Mr. Grimstone,

That all sounds very good indeed! I look forward to working with you once again.

    With regards,

    Nathaniel G. Gallivan
