I am so sorry I haven't written to you lately. Fourth year turned to be a particularly difficult one, full of homework and studying. I really wonder what classes are like in Beauxbatons. You always told me that Beauxbatons is far better than Hogwarts and, right now I start to agree with you, even though I have no idea what Beauxbatons looks like.

Christmas was particularly pleasant for me. Even if Clarissa didn't stop being annoying as always and, we ended up fighting in the evening of Christmas. Really, Mariette, why does she hate my so much? She always hated my clothes and she never approved anything I've done. I do not understand her. Every girl at my age dresses in the same way as me but she still says that I dress like a thirty year old! Who is she to speak? She looks way older than her actual age! Anyway, enough about Clarissa, I am sure you are not interested to hear about my boring sister.

This school year was one full of scandals. Firstly, females were banned from Quidditch. You can't imagine what happened. I am sure that a lot of girls now hate Headmaster Black. Then, some french girl, Odette de Montfault got raped. At least the boy who did this crime was expelled. Sure, I like scandal, it keeps me entertained but this was rather creepy. What if I ended up in her place? You know how shy I tend to get around boys...

Oh, remember by friend, Lysandra Sutherland? You won't believe what happened! She is a mudblood! She hid this from me all this time! I was so angry that didn't tell me this at first place. Okay, now you will say that if she was honest with me from the first place, I would never speak to her, but it is not my fault. Everyone in my family encourages me to stay away from muggleborns. I can not do anything against their will. Even if I rather miss the time we used to be friends, Mary. Sure, she is a mudblood but she was not like those annoying, filthy and nerdy ones. I was willing to forgive her (alright, maybe not) when that weasel Andren Lovegood popped out like a filthy chicken and tried to defend her. Really, what is wrong with him? What is wrong with all those stupid Hufflepuffs in general. Can't they just sit and not mess in other's business? And then they claim to be good and helpful. Stupid, annoying Hufflepuff. I swer Mariette, the next time that slum rat interferes I will turn him into a frog and then feed the grindylows with him.

That being said, now is only me and Antigone. Oh, and a couple of first years who follow me around. I will admit you something, Mariette. Even if all the Slytherin are at my side, I still feel that people prefer Sutherland and this annoys me because, seriously, nobody likes mubloods expect those annoying Hufflepuffs. Oh, and Gryffindors, they lovers of justice, the supporter of the weak! Blood traitors... Even Genevieve still talks with Sutherland. Seriously, Genevive believes that weasel's lies? I honestly think that if I say that my mother is a goose everyone will believe me.

Anyway. Please, write to me soon, I miss you so much, Mariette. Hogwarts needs more people like you.
