    Castor Allaway vs. Heinrich Echelon
    #1
These next two students were somewhat older, and both boys, which boded well for an entertaining duel. Mortimer gave them each a nod in greeting, then began reciting the rules.

After that, he said, "When you're ready, Mr. Allaway to start!"

While a sickly boy in his earliest years and more bookish than sporty as time went on, his introduction into the magical world had also served as his introduction to athletics, and by now, Castor found that a day without some sort of active pursuit left him almost cranky.

He bowed politely to the Ravenclaw, whom he had shared classes with in the past (and beaten at quidditch, huzzah!) before casting a jelly-brain jinx.
castor has several smallpox scars on his face and body that he kept hidden from years 2-4, but he is no longer self-conscious about them. your character might notice this change.

H attempted to disarm the Gryffindor before he could cast anything.

The jinx appeared to have little effect, as Echelon still managed to disarm Allaway. Seeing the wand returned to it's owner, Mortimer continued, "Mr. Echelon gains the first point and may cast next."

Pleased with his first victory, H cast the Clothing Animating Spell on Mr. Allaway's shirt/robe/whatever he was wearing on the torso and arms area. If that worked according to plan, he'd made the piece of clothing move weirdly and so prevent the Gryffindor from having a clear aim on H.

One was bound to find actual competition in someone from the dueling club. Castor did not let his first round loss distract him as he cast a shield charm.

Allaway's shield had not been produced in time, and would do little now, for the other boy's spell had seen his sleeves shaking and wrapping inconveniently around his wand arm. Interesting choice of spell, though it had been effective, effective enough to leave the ruling clear. "With two rounds in his favour, Mr. Echelon takes the duel! Better luck next time, Mr. Allaway."
