I've gone to Denmark on Ministry businessùI thought someone might have told you. If not, I apologize, though I did not, in fairness, expect to be "needed" at home. I have been receiving the papers whilst on my trip (albeit a day late), and you, mercifully, have been absent from themùso I think it's safe to assume you are not in near so much trouble as you think.

Go to Bennet. He is your eldest brother and so the one technically entrusted with your maintenance. I do love you, sister, but I have the Ministry to fuss with; if Ben might take the weight of you from my shoulders, I shall happily relinquish you to him. I am quite certain you are overreacting, and I hope that, by the time you receive this letter, you have calmed down somewhat. I will be sure to send for you when I return if you still wish to speak properly.

My maintenance! You make me sound like an enchanted couch cushion! The nerve of brothers!

Bennet may be older but he is not the Minister and he is not you. Not every bit of my life makes it to the Prophet, and if I say I am in trouble, I mean it, Darcy. I'm not overreacting and I wish you would believe me. I am your only sister after all, you would think you would trust me!

I hope by "my weight" you do not imply that I've been getting fat. Because I haven't.
