Today, I fiddled about with the blackbird pie meant for Halloween celebrations. Instead of the pie sprouting a decoration of a marvelous blackbird made of blackberries - as intended - it seems that I have sprouted wings. They are quite large and are coming right out of my back! I have obviously gotten myself seen to but am told that it will go away on its own.
So I suppose that I spontaneously I have a costume for tonights Masquerade Ball at Hogwarts. How quaint.

It has been quite some time since I heard from Miss F. I investigated what was going on and am heartbroken to find that she has apparently chosen not to be my sweetheart. It was rather disorienting for she seemed to be very much invested in our courtship but no matter. The pain will pass in due time, I am told.
