Appearance: Nox is of average height and built, though slightly on the thin side. He has short dark brown hair and slightly dusty blue eyes. His father half-forces him to wear acceptable clothes for an upper-class heir of perfectly good family, though Nox has a more scruffy-look than his father appreciates, because he does not shaves every day and gets quite a stubble. He uses his right hand.
History: Nox is born in Italy as the first child to Hortence and Lazarro Maroc. Lenox is quite the spoiled child until his little sister comes to the world, three months before Nox's third birthday. Where some may would think that it would make it hard for Nox to become happy for his little sister, it was quite the opposite that happened. Lynette is the perfect little sister and Lenox finds her sweet, even when she was just a baby. He loved looking at her and just make sure that she was safe, though the three year old, could not imagine any real danger that their parents could not zap away with magic. Lenox was simply just the type that wanted to be close to his younger sister and over the years they became very close. They told each other almost anything, and they became good friends, a good thing, because of their perfectionist parents.
When Nox was ten the entire family moved from Italy to England, so he would be able to attend Hogwarts. Nox was sad to leave Italy and his friends, but at the time there was not anything Nox could do and a part of him looked forward to the adventure of living in a new country and get new friends. Still maintaining close to Lyn, Nox began at Hogwarts in 1875, and was sorted into the Slytherin house. Slightly unsure of why he was sorted into the house, he slowly began finding himself, realizing who he really was on the inside. Shortly before his third year the family moved to Hogsmeade, so they could be closer and he could visit them every once in a while.
As he started his fourth year, Lynette started at Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw, Nox felt slightly proud of his sister, though a part of him had wishes that she would have gone to Slytherin house and they could stay just as close as they were before. He never said it to Lyn though, he did not wanted for her to feel guilty because of a hat's decision of her house. The year after, during his fifth year, Nox began to feel the pressure of parents wanting nothing but perfect grades from him at his OWLs, and a few of his friends offered him a small glass of fire-whiskey to take the nerves away. Nox found that it helped very much and before he was thinking about it, he smuggled a bottle of fire-whiskey in and began to drink more and more often. In the beginning he kept it from his parents, friends, but most of all he wanted to keep it from Lyn, even if they were close, he did not wanted to worry his only thirteen year old sister with his own weakness.
His grades turned out decent and even if his parents were not completely satisfied with it, he still managed to hide his amount of drinking from his parents, though he knew that eventually they would find out. His last two years of school only adds to the stress he feels of having to reach the impossible demands from his father, and the amount of alcohol he drinks daily increases during these two years. Finishing Hogwarts in 1882, Lenox decided to move out of the family home and find a small place for himself, in order to get away from his father's demands and he tries to only visit when his father is out of the home, in order to see Lyn and stay close to her. Much against his own will, he has started as an intern in the ministry, he only started because his father threatened to cut down on his allowance. Only thanks to his father's good pulls in the ministry has he yet to get into trouble for drinking as much and often as he does.
