Castor Allaway v. Andren Lovegood

Valkyria had no doubt that this would be a short duel, as it was with two boys and there was a two year gap between them. She went over the rules and then turned to the Gryffindor.

• This, the Gryffindor thought, was going to be a challenge.
  
  With Lovegood two years his senior, Castor knew this duel would not be as easy as those that had preceded it—he just hoped that the Hufflepuff was not as good with a wand as he was with a beater’s bat. Quickly deciding that one of his old tricks was the best bet, the fourth year, when bid, cast, “Silencio!” With any luck, the spell would either reach Lovegood and silence him before he could cast his own, or bypass anything he did cast and render him speechless nonetheless.
