Dear Mrs. Wilkinson,
It is with greatest pleasure that I received news from your dear younger sister that yet another babe is going to call Hogsmeade it's birth place. As I am in no doubt you have been informed I have taken your younger sister Rosalind Pendergast under my wing and she has expressed some concern over your health and the health of your child.
I offer my congratulations, and wonder if it is not at all rude if I could visit and assuage her worries. You may have read that my dear sister-in-law Ursula Black has also recently given birth to a healthy son and it would give me nothing but pleasure to bask in your mutual success and wish, had circumstances been different that I too would be able to bear children.
Elladora Black
[Elladora signed her name with a flourish and fanned the parchment waiting for the ink to dry. One of her protegee's was worried - that was enough to send Elladora to investigate but Elladora felt her heart go out to this woman and wondered if it was indeed true, however unlikely, that the baby survivied. She knew she'd have to tread carefully, after all no matter what the situation Linaeve Wilkinson, nee Pendergast, was going to be in a fragile situation. She gave the penned letter to her Snowy Owl and watched as the bird flew off into the sunset.] [OOC: Is this okay Sarah?]
