    • Harrison Foley, assistant head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement had just returned from his trip from trying to catch a criminal. The thirty-one year old had succeeded in excusing himself from paperwork to return to a brief run as a Hit Wizard. The thirty-one year old had also been successful and turned the man over to the Interrogators at the Wizengamont for further questioning, sentencing, and the whole judicial process. Harrison had never been interested into the job of the courts. He was rarely involved in sentencing, but once or twice he had been put on the stand to testify his case. For the most part, Harrison knew that his suspects were guilty and were sent to Azkaban anyway.

Azkaban, the wizarding prison, was a place that Harrison was lucky to have never visited. He did not intend on visiting there anyway. Nevertheless, Harrison Foley did master the Patronus Charm when he had first started working in the Ministry. It was neither the time nor place to get lost reminiscing, but time to wash away his moods and be calm. Calm was good. The thirty-one year old was still single, not like that bothered him, but Harry was starting to wonder if he would ever be a married man. He was not that old and he was upper class so surely there were some young women aboutà somewhere. Harrison did not know where to look, however.

Walking on High Street on a relatively nice day was good exercise and the assistant head was glad to be outdoors. The brisk late February air made it feel nice out before the country welcomed spring. A majority of the snow had melted and there were little piles against the buildings still remaining, but for everything to be clearing made the thirty-one year old very happy. Of all the months, Harrison loved March the most. March meant that flowers and trees were starting to bud and bloom and makes everything beautiful again. Harrison knew that these thoughts were antiquated and certainly out of character for Mister I'm-the-Assistant-Head-of-The-Department-of-Magical-Law-Enforcement persona. Harrison, being as absent minded as he was that day, bumped elbows with another citizen walking along High Street. "Pardon me," he said and turned to see who it was and if they needed any help.

The weather was lovely. Joy loved to walk around the High Street during such a weather. She felt approaching spring and it brought her joy as well as sadness. It was her last year in Hogwarts, last year full of disappointments and sorrow. First the cousin of one of her best friends left her to marry his silly French bride; later Isis herself left her. And there was her brother, drinking into stupor, being all whiny and pathetic.

Spring brought hope. Hope for changes, which Charlie and Valerie promised her. She had lot of trust for her twin sister, but a little faith in her own brother. Maybe it was cruel and mean, but Joy knew that his case was just hard. Eurydice had a little effect on Charlie, Valerie and Joy couldn't constantly guard him. To be honest, the American girl was ashamed of him sometimes.

Lost in her thoughts she walked toward the Gates of Hogwarts with a bag full of her errands loosely hanging on her shoulder. Inside she had couple of books about plants for her Herbology studies, few new ribbons and a bar of chocolate from the Honeyduke's for Valerie.

Suddenly someone bumped into her. It was just a meet of elbows, but it was enough to make her bag fell into mud with a wet splash. Books got covered with mud and ribbons were destroyed. Joyce almost immediately knelt down to pick up her books, before they join ribbons. The girl barely heard a man, too occupied with saving her precious errands. "Ugh, look what you have done" she murmured to herself, not realizing that he is still there.

    • Harrison's face fell into an expression of distress. "I'm sorry miss!" he exclaimed. He had just knocked a bag full of supplies off into the muck. Harry Foley frowned and thoughts raced through his mind on what he should do. He was a hopeless case in that area for certain. He should be better at thinking on his feet. And, Harrison was surprised that he could not think of a suitable response to the young woman who was only a few paces away from him. Harrison knelt in an effort to pick up the supplies, but the young lady had already done so. He frowned. "I am extremely sorry, miss," Harry started. "I think I'll be able to clean everythingà including your ribbons."

A florid expression swept his cheeks and Harrison took out his wand. It was a rather simple cedar wand with a Hippogriff feather. Its simple appearance was not to outdo his simple appearance. Harrison cleared his throat and gently took one of the ribbons in his left hand. Waving his wand and muttering a soft spell on a level close to inaudibility. The thirty-one year old then returned it to the redheaded woman. His flushed cheeks grew almost redder with embarrassment. Harrison did not know what to do exactly. It was infuriating!

Harrison put his wand back inside an inner pocket before clearing his throat and issuing a slight bow to the woman. "Mister Harrison Foley, Assistant Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at your service," Harry said. A rather long title, but in his mind it was well deserved and complimented his years of hard work for not only the Ministry of Magic but the wizarding world who probably had no idea who he was on a day-by-day basis. And for some strange reason, being a silent hero was a good thing to Harrison. A decade plus three years of work all of a sudden did not seem like that much dedication, not that it meant to anyone else in the Ministry.

The fool, who knocked down her supplies tried to undo the destruction, which he caused. Although, he underestimated Joy, thinking that ribbons were in the centre of her attention. She was more concerned about her books' fate û they were about to become useless. "Put that stupid ribbon down and help me save books!" she growled, staring at him with sparks of irritation in her blue eyes. Was he a complete idiot? Who cared about ribbons when precious books were sinking in mud? The girl draw her wand from pocket of her skirt and used the same spell as the man, trying to save her handbooks.

Joyce's cheeks flushed with irritation. In moments like this one she acted impulsive and showed a bit more of her hot temper. She looked at the man and found out that he was blushing like a girl. She could see very clearly a blush of embarrassment painting his cheeks. This sight immediately disarmed her and calmed down her a bit. She sighed heavily and smiled when he bowed before her, introducing himself. Blood drained from her face and after a second painted her cheeks on very radiant shade of red matching with colour of her hair. It wasn't a common fool, usual wanderer. He was a high ranked Ministry worker. Joyce felt weak on her knees from embarrassment. She just scolded the Assistant Head of Department of Law Enforcement. How bad could it be?

"Miss Joyce Gilmore" she curtsied in return, remembering about good manners, blushing even more. She wanted to apologise for her behaviour earlier, but words couldn't escape from her throat. The situation was very awkward, too awkward for her tastes. Valerie, her twin, would know what to say or do in that situation, but not Joyce. "I amà ummà Wellà" she stammered "I think thatà books will be alrightà"
