Dearest Darlie,

I'm upset that you didn't even tell me that you planned on going somewhere. It isn’t like you to hide your plans from me. But I shall forgive you for now as I have an idea of what, specifically who forced you to leave.

Did Sweetie say anything again? Please tell me if she did. I’d hate it if you were to lie about it. I promise I won’t do anything to her. You were visibly troubled last night and as much as we both love Sweetie, she is the only one in the household who can make anyone that upset.

It’s only been least than a day since you left but I hope you are enjoying your vacation. Knight and I miss you dearly, probably Cuppy and Handsome too. You should have told me yesterday for I would have love to accompany you. Two is better than one, right? I am curious though, which relative are you staying with? The servant that I pestered wasn’t very specific on which one.

Dearest Honey,

I am very sorry for leaving without saying goodbye to you—to all of you. I honestly hadn’t planned on spending my summer away, but I thought it was best after what happened between Sweetie and me.

Please do not be bitter towards Sweetie—or resent her, for she didn't force me out. I chose to leave. I thought it would be best for everyone if I spent some time away. Sweetie needs time with you all without me there, and you need time with her. I do hope that you will take this opportunity to reconnect with Sweetie, dear sister.

I am staying with Uncle Winston, Aunt Frieda, and our cousins* in Hogsmeade. Aunt Frieda has wished me to assure you all that you are welcome to visit as often as you wish.

Please extend my love to our brothers and sisters. I miss you all greatly and I hope to hear from you again soon.

Dearest Darlie,

I refuse to reconcile with her until she accepts how immature she is at the moment. Really, who gets angry for this long about a descision made by a stupid hat. I can handle if it was only me but she had to get angry at you and Miss Huntingtower*. I understand that you are trying to help but I don't think pampering her with your kindness would help. She needs to start acting like the older sister to us.

I won't be bitter at her, I promise but I fear that my patience will wear out if she tries hurts you or our other siblings again. I might not be able to control my violent temper.

I sometimes wonder if our Mama should have named her Drama Queen or Bitter instead, maybe Lemon too. I'm kidding but those seriously fit her more.

When are you going home? It's terribly dull here without you and yes, we shall visit you as frequently as we can. Tell our cousins I said Hi.

Dearest Honey,

I'm sorry that I didn't write back yesterday. I needed time to think about what you said in your letter.

I understand your frustrations and I will not tell you how or when to reconnect with our sister. I am only encouraging you to do so—and only at your pace.

My leaving wasn't a means of pampering Sweetie. It really was a selfish decision. Although I have been able to ignore her attitude towards me up until now, our last conversation together really hurt. I didn't feel welcome in my own room, Honey. I couldn't stay there. Knowing just how much she hates me, I don't know if I could ever share a room with her again.

I suppose, in a way, I am pampering Sweetie, but I'm also pampering myself, being here.

I'm not entirely certain when I'll be back home, though I was planning to visit during the Irvingly Picnic, if that's alright with everyone.

Dearest Darlie,

I’m sorry that you got involved into this and I understand your reason since I too am hurt with her words and actions. Even staying in the same house as her is difficult and the only reason why I don’t plan on following you just yet is because of our other siblings. I hope your stay at Uncle Winston’s will give you the peace of mind that you are in need of.

I shall not badger you to come home early but if you decide to cut your vacation short, I think we can convince Handsome and Mama to let you stay with Cupcake or even with me if we can fit in my room. Though if you do stay with Cuppy, I’m not sure how you’ll be able to dodge her baked goods but least you would be far more comfortable and happier there compared to staying with Sweetie. And there is also the option of letting you have one of the guest rooms since not all of them are frequently used.

Of course you are welcome to visit us! This is still your home, after all. I am excited to see you, everyone would be once I inform them. We miss you.
