My dear Tessie,

I hope that the autumn has been kind to you of late, and that Mr. Ross’s campaign is not causing you undue hardship. Please extend to him my most sincere good wishes for his success, as of all those in the running, I suspect Mr. Ross’s politics do line up nicely with my own. It is a relief, therefore, that it is the Ross family that employ you and not the likes of Mr. Dawlish!

But enough about politics, for I write with the intention of in invitation. If you can be spared, I would like very much for you and your brothers to join me on the twenty-sixth for the Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw matchup, their first of the season. I know Penny likely has a game that day as well, but I do wager she would forgive your indulging your dear father, at least just this once.

Dearest Papa,

Fortunately, the election season has not taken much of a toll on my physical or emotional health. Mr. Ross has done a fine job of keeping his children out of the spotlight, and as such, myself.

I would be glad to join you for the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw match! I did enjoy watching quidditch as a youth, for all I feared flying. I don't think Penny will mind; I don't doubt she'll have many of her school friends in the stands supporting her!
