Oh God, there were people. So. many. people.

She'd at first been unaware as to why, but then it came to her attention that ministerial candidate Eleanora Brownhill was hosting a campaign event ... in the hospital. It was ludicrous, thought the welcome witch. Helping people? By getting in the way of the healers trying to do their work? It was unlikely to have the desired effect, and frustrated Bella was about to let people know.

And who had she found? The lady candidate herself, of course!

"Good morning, Mrs. Brownhill!" greeted Bella in a chirpy tone that she'd perfected after two months of working as a welcome witch. "I didn't expect that so many people would show up volunteer today! What exactly—" Her voice lowered with slight suspicion. "—are they going to be doing?" She didn't think most people enjoyed doing things like laundry, especially those stuffy posh people.
