Clarissa enjoyed walks through Padmore Park. Her family had held their annual Christmas party and it had felt hallow without Justin there. In a couple of days, it would be the first year anniversary of his murder and it was enough to have Clarissa's mind in a dark spot.

Walking through Padmore Park helped a lot though, it cleared her mind somewhat. She was by the lake when she found herself suddenly unable to move any further. Her chaperone had not even noticed her plight and kept walking which was making the former Slytherin a little panicky.

Anyone who knew Albert would know that he wasn't a particularly festive person, but also that he didn't like to ruin the holiday season for other people. He wore a kind smile as he passed Christmas shoppers and children who were playing in the small amount of snow, his happy expression fading into a more serious one when he was on his own.

He was walking at a healthy distance behind a young woman and her chaperon when he noted that the woman—who seemed very young from a distance—stopped. He approached her at the same speed as he'd currently been walking, prepared to offer any assistance she needed.

"Oh," he said, recognizing the dark-haired beauty immediately upon seeing her face. "Miss Cosgrove, it's lovely to see you," he greeted politely. "What's wr—?" Oh. He'd attempted to take another step, but had found his feet glued to the ground!
