n the last six months Angelica had both realized and lived through her mother's pain and the reason she had no siblings. Not to say she did not love the fact she would soon be a mother, she had been waiting for this day for years but she could do without the muscle cramps, the headaches and most of all the nausea. She had been told that once she got out of the third months she would slowly begin to lose the morning sickness and nausea all together. Now at the end of her six months she was no less nauseous then she had been at three. Truth be told, after reading her mother's baby journal she realized lasting nausea ran in the family. It seemed she herself had kept her mother bowing the the toilet until the very end. Angel was just thankful she no longer threw up everyday, but the constant nausea was almost worst. She could barley stand to be around certain foods, even certain places of fresh air made her stomach turn.
It was afternoon when Angelica found herself walking through Hogsmead. She had one place in mind, the Apothecary. She did not go to the store often, it was usually her husband who messed around with potions but then she had never been particularly talented in that area while in school. She was dressed in her usual attire, and she walked to her destination with poise, greeting those she recognized from either her Husbands work or school with a smile and nod. She had one hand over her growing stomach, and with her petite build she was very large, having outgrown all her other gowns months ago she had fun buying new ones after the fourth month. Her dress was a beautiful light powder blue which was almost as light as her eyes and was accented with lace and frills. Her corset was tight, yet was not constricting because of her pregnancy. Basically it gave her chest the support it needed. Her hair was curled and pinned up and she wore a blue hat which matched the dress and a choker around her slim neck. The hat was a old one, and went with another dress which was almost identical to the one she wore now.
Arriving at the store she opened the door and entered, nodding politely at the customers closest to her and moving on. She was here for one thing, a supply of nausea potions. She was rubbish at making them herself and after months of trying to avoid any potions and doing the whole thing naturally she had crumbled. Rubbing her belly she let her hands fall to her side and looked around trying to remember the layout of the store. Breathing in again Angel wrinkled her nose at her mistake. The place smelled like a barn, only worse. Her stomach churned and she placed the back of her pale hand over her mouth. She had to do this, she would find her potion and get out as soon as possible. Walking further in she looked over shelves and tables to find the proper potion. It was sure to be close to the other remedies.

ngelica was feeling more nauseous by the second but she pushed it away, tried to breath inconspicuously through her mouth as much as possibly and take shallow breaths. The last thing she wanted was to make a scene in public û spewing her lunch over the floors of such a establishment as this would draw attention. Merlin forbid the news reach her husband and their circle of friends. She mentally shuddered at the thought as her baby kicked her gut and she wrinkled her nose at the rather hard kidney kick. She noticed with outrage though the nausea potions were rather lacking. Only two viles left. Sighing she picked them up and studied the liquid which would be her salvation. She wondered if Ursula would be able to make her some personally? She was thrown from her thoughts though by a familiar voice and she turned sharpy almost frightened and smiled happily at the dark curls and light yet piercing gray eyes.
"Ursula, How are you? I should have realized I might run into you here," Angel said smiling her eyes and tone almost teasing her oldest friend about her passion for potions. They were six years apart in age and she had just begun her first year in Ursula's seventh but they had grown up together in a since. The Flints were the Ainsworths oldest friends, and they often got dropped together to play in the court yard or gardens while the grown ups talked. Though Angelica was a only child she had begun to see Ursi as her older sister. She had never known how much Ursula really liked her, until her mother died. Though the older woman was not a saint or caring person by any definition to most people or at all she had been there to help Angel in her first year. If it had not been for her she did not know if she'd have passed Potions at all.
"How is Sirius and Mr. Black?" Angelica asked after a moment, not surprised to see her friend looking magnificent in black and dark emerald green with brilliant jewelery. It was something they had in common, they both loved to dress up for any occasion. They were always looking their best. Though it was usual to leave personal matters in the home and out of conversation Angel was a unpredictable person and having known Ursi for so long she didn't feel it would offend her. If it did she'd simply not answer, and the dark haired woman knew that turn about was fair play. They didn't necessarily keep secrets from each other, they just left things out. The subject of Phineas Black though was a touchy one for Ursi and she knew it. Angelica had never been comfortable calling Mr. Black anything other then his tittle as to her he was always her former headmaster and she was quite intimidated by him something she was sure Ursula found amusing.

A thousand lies have made me colder
Ursula could not help but continue smiling but it changed into more of a smirk at her friend's words. Yes, she did indeed like potions but she didn't live at the Apothecary. "As fond as I might be of brewing up the odd potion, I do not wish to make this a home away from home for the obvious reason that..." she took a pause to breathe in the air, "it smells more than fragrent and you see all sorts in here, if you know what I mean." She flashed a friend a small smirk at the thought of feeling far superior to such common creatures that could be found wandering the streets of Hogsmede. Ursula was of course referring to the lower classes - after all, they had to buy potion ingredients too and this was the easiest and most reliable place to purchase them but this meant that the classes would occasionally have to mix ever so slightly even if it was just to share the same breathing space.
"Phineas is busy with work and Hogwarts as he is most of the time," she replied, the slightest hint of resentment in her voice that she hadn't quite managed to get rid of. She resented his work, she loathed the school and she hated that she couldn't even capture the tender feelings of her own husband. "As for Sirius, he is well. Growing fast and looking more like his father every day." Ursula held no pride or warmth in her voice when speaking of her son; she barely knew him and the only pride she felt in relation to him was that she had succeeded in producing a male heir for the Black family straight away. It was a comforting thought that it was not necessary for her to have any more children since male heirs were the only reason for having children in her opinion. Children were so irksome and tiring, why bother?
Ursula had a feeling that her friend was not of the same mind as her - she had never asked outright and never intended to but it was just something that she sensed from the subtleties she had managed to pick up on. For example, Ursula upon discovering she was expecting, had been torn between pride that she had fulfilled her duty and wishing that it would disappear so that she could escape it. It had been three years since Sirius had been born and she didn't intend to add to the population again, at least not soon anyhow although accidents could happen. Wishing for a change in the direction of conversation, she decided to ask her own question, "I trust you have been keeping well?" Ursula was not ignorant to the fact that Angelica was expecting, it was impossible to mistake especially because Urusla knew what she normally looked like. The change was quite dramatic.
Rune keeps spoiling me unexpectedly with graphical wonders

Emmaline ran down the street to the apothecary. She had seen a rather fancy carriage and figured that maybe Madame Malfoy was in hogsmeade. Despite her saying she wouldn't be in hogsmeade, Emmaline decided to borrow her friends cart and head into town.
She entered the building and right away she felt out of place, all the fine ladies walking around, the men purchasing potion items, and there was little old Emmaline, broke as a church mouse, walking amongst them. She sighed and continued to walk around hands in her pocket.
