    My Dear Husband,

In honor of your thirty-fifth birthday, I have arranged an intimate dinner party with a select few couples whose company I am certain you shall enjoy greatly. I am aware that you are currently busy with Hogwarts business but I insist that you give yourself the day off, or at the very least, the evening for it would reflect most dreadfully on both you and I were you not to make an appearance.

It is likely that the party shall occupy a good portion of the evening hours and I encourage you to consider staying the night at home rather than making a hasty return to the school so you need not trouble yourself with the hassle as you will very likely be quite tired.

    With Affection,

    Your wife

    Ursula,

I will not be able to make it. This is much too short notice, and I am far too busy.

No, you can't cuss out, hex, or slap Phineas without consequences. Yes, people have asked.

    Dear Phineas,

I have already received confirmation from the dinner guests, Phineas. I beseech you to change your mind or else there shall be all sorts of rumors about the state of our marriage. I know I should not like to hear gossip concerning our marital bliss or lack thereof, would you?

    Yours,

    Ursula

    Ursula,

It was wholly inappropriate for you to arrange a dinner without first seeing if my schedule was clear. I will be there, but I shall not be spending the night. I need to get back to the school as soon as possible.

    Dear Phineas,

I did forewarn you that I intended to celebrate your birthday back in September and last I checked, your birthday does not annually change date. As for spending the night, do as you wish. I thought only of making things easier for you but if that is what you prefer to do, so be it.

    Yours,

    Ursula
