    Nora,

This lesson is super boring. This is what happens when I actually do the reading homework, I have nothing to do during class.

If we had kids someday do you think they'd have my hair, or red hair like yours? I know that's a weird thing to think about but I was just wondering.

    Harry,

Red and curly, maybe? It would be more unique that way. Though I hope that if they're girls they're not too vain, or else they wouldn't be too pleased to have red hair. And if they're boys then I would prefer if they had your hair. Red hair on boys looks kind of weird.

    Nora,

I suppose you're right; I didn't think about that. Boys with red hair do look sort of weird.

I know red hair isn't really supposed to be the best, but I like it. I think it's unique and I've always liked your hair, ever since I first met you.

Too bad we couldn't just divide them up and have all the girls look like you and all the boys look like me... though maybe that would be weird, now that I think about it. If they looked too much like us, anyway. But I guess it would be when we were older so they wouldn't look exactly like we did.

How many kids do you want?

    Harry

    Harry,

They might not even look at us at all, you know. They could look like our grandparents or something. I heard that my father had really nice green eyes, so maybe one of our children will inherit them.

As for the number... How about four? That's a nice, round number. We could have two sons and two daughters and you could teach the boys how to play Quidditch and I could teach the girls how to transfigurate things and stuff. Unless the girls liked Quidditch as well, then we could all play Quidditch together. I bet the kids would hate being in the same team as me.

Then again, I doubt we would be able to control how many children we have. And considering how many sisters I have I bet we would have enough for a whole Quidditch team if we wanted to.

I do not suppose you have any names in mind yet?

    Nora,

Four! That seems like a lot, but that's probably because my house is just me and my sister. I guess I probably would have had more siblings if my mother hadn't gotten ill. I guess if your family could handle so many girls we could probably be alright with four. Or however many you want.

I want to teach them all how to play Quidditch! I think it's awesome when girls play Quidditch, not on professional teams or anything, just at home, like you and your sisters do. But I don't want to steal them all away. They should all learn Transfiguration from you and Quidditch from me, and all sorts of other things... they should learn everything!

I've never really thought about kids before, so I don't really have any names, I guess. Do you have any you like?

    Harry

    Harry,

I suppose four does seem as a lot when you're a parent. And a sibling, even. It can be a pain to have a bunch of younger siblings, especially when they decide that you should help them do all their essays and stuff. I doubt you would have too much trouble with four children, though. You're a great captain and some of our House's players can be idiots sometimes. And I bet that you would make a wonderful father.

Maybe they could even learn about potions from their aunt? Your sister does like them, right? As for the aunts from my side of the family... They better not be too influenced by Saoirse, I guess. But Sib could give them books and stuff. Though I admit, I would much rather give them broomsticks rather than books.

As for names... Irish, maybe? If you don't mind, of course. Or your father. But I know for sure that I don't want ordinary names like Jane or John or something.

    Nora,

I think we'll be alright however many there are. I mean, we'll figure it out as we go along I suspect.

I don't know very many Irish names, except for the ones in your family. I don't think we should name our kids after anyone we know. What if they end up not liking that person very much? Or--well, I guess I just think they should have their own names.

Tell me some Irish names. Maybe ones starting with L or M, those are nice letters. But tell me any of the names you like and we'll see if I like them too.

    Harry

    Harry,

    M and L. Lets see.

Laoise, Líobhan (pronounced Lyee-von), Maelisa, Meallá, Móirín and Marga are nice names for a girl. And for boys Leannán, Lonán, Morann or Meallán ? I also really like Éamonn or Cormac for a boy and Róisín or Bríghid for a girl.

Or we could go with something completely different, maybe. Like Italian names or something.

    Nora,

I like Liobhan and Mealla, they sound nice. Lonßn and Meallan are my favorite of the boy names, but we couldn't have a Meallan and a Mealla, that would be too confusing. Roisin is nice, too. I'd be okay with any of those I think except Cormac. I don't like Cormac for some reason.

Why Italian names? They'd probably be easier to spell and more normal, I guess. Italian names are more normal, aren't they? I don't know very much about names.

Sorry I don't have more opinions about stuff.

    Harry,

Well, I suppose it depends on whether we have a boy or a girl, I suppose.

Italian names would probably sound more normal. My step-father always said he wanted to visit Italy, so I guess that's why I said it. Besides, your surname does sound Italian if you pronounce it in an Italian way. I rather like the names Donatella or Nerezza for a girl or Amadeo for a boy.

    Nora,

Amadeo is probably the coolest name I've ever heard ever.

We don't have to decide this stuff right now, you know, because we can't even get married until after we graduate and stuff anyway. And we might not want to get married right away, it depends, I guess. But it is nice to talk about during boring classes. It definitely made this one go by a lot faster.

    I like you.
