Ben could tell that she was still wary and he made not to ask Dunny what had happened, if the man would feel comfortable divulging. As it was, Ben didn't want to cause any more discomfort for Miss Vina. Still, he was an observant man. He had seen it in her eyes that she wanted to fly. He didn't want to press her though, recognizing a fragile woman when he saw one though at the same time, he didn't think she was weak.

"If ya change your mind, I'm but an owl away or send word with Dunny," he told her. "Y'all got all this space, just perfect for safely teaching someone how to fly. At any rate, I can come back to visit ya, if ya like." Benjamin saw no reason why the MacFustys would begrudge Vina someone to talk to when she was clearly not quite comfortable with them yet. She had barely known him before so he was thinking that he could be a buffer of sorts.

She hesitated a moment, as though weighing the offer and then nodded. Still she was rather paranoid about getting another man hurt because of her. Apparently her brothers were quite protective of her. She supposed that was a good thing. But at the same time she didn't think that they knew who to protect her from. Certainly she hadn't needed to be protected from Mister Goode!

"Ah'll think about it." She shifted again, fingers sliding over her right side lightly, unconsciously. Even when she did realize she was doing it, she didn't know why. Apparently she'd gotten the scar from a dragon and not in some horrific, abusive event like Mister Goode had thought. Tilting her head slightly, she watched Mister Tinker, studied him candidly. "Did ye want some tea? Or a wee bit o' food? Ah'm nae allowed t' cook anymore, but Ah can probably find ye somethin'"
