Elijah had been standing in the precise same spot he had been in for a few hours. There were a number of customers who did come to buy something; an old man who, after quite some time, decided to buy a "Dreamless Dream Potion" or a man was rushing around the Apothecary to buy some "Hiccoughing Solution". But for Elijah, it was a particularly boring day as he had been trying to create a potion and has nearing a dead end. It was rather interesting to see the different types of people come into the store, some with children, some obviously in the lower class and the occasional upper class man with his wife or perhaps his children to grimace at the smell of the store- that was more or less likely Elijah's fault with his potion.

He enjoyed laughing silently at the Upper Class women, though. They always thought that they were too good to enter this store and whenever one of them did, they were known to look quite green. However, there were some exceptions; some upper class people could put up with being here and went on to do their shopping for the day. Anyways, back to his potion. It seemed to be brewing well, the colour looked fine, a bright liquid, what was going to be his attempt of Felix Felicis. It was an extremely complicated potion but Elijah's only worry was that it took such a long time to create.

But it was far more interesting watching the customer wander around the Apothecary as Eli's potion was becoming quite boring to make. Nothing exciting had happened to the potion and no matter how hard Eli worked on it, the potion never really did anything to indicate that it was experimental. It was just to pass his time but it was far too boring to make. Without thinking, Eli added a drop of "Elixir to Induce Euphoria" and the whole store shook as the potion made a deep rumbling noise and steam was pouring out of the silver cauldron.

"Uhm, no need to worry..." Elijah scrambled to get it to calm down. "Just an experiment...gone bad" He muttered the last two words to himself. It had taken him weeks to create the first part of his Felix Felicis and he stupidly admitted to dropping the elixir to see if something random had happened. And he was right, something did happen; as the potion bubbled over the top, it became a dark, soot coloured gas that he just managed to contain. "Oops..." Eli muttered to himself, smiling slightly but annoyed at himself for messing up his potion from daydreaming.

Elsbeth pulled the hood of her black cloak tighter around her face as she bent her head low to keep the rain from falling onto her face. The cloak was not what it once had been and had grown thin in the spots she used the most. Her hood, for example, was hardly effective in keeping her head dry. Her pale blonde hair was several shades darker and past the point of damp. Her cerulean dress that was several years old clung to her shapely form, as did the bottom half of the cloak. She had tried to lay low since her run in with the man who worked for the Ministry and luckily, had not seen him since.

Finally, she found the shop that she wanted: the apothecary. Elsbeth slipped inside quietly, though as she stepped inside a puddle formed where she placed her feet. Just as she slipped her soaked hood off of her equally soaked head, there was a great commotion from where the potions were brewed. The employee didn't seem too confident in what he was doing. If she had known anything about potions, she might have tried to help - as well as if she had been in a better mood. Spending a half of an hour wandering around High Street searching for the place in the pouring rain had done nothing but sour her mood.

She stepped up to the counter, her chin held high, despite the rivulets of water that dripped from her forehead and down her cheeks. "Sir, I would like to ask a question," Elsbeth told him sharply, "When you have the time, of course. There is no rush." Her fair blue eyes were narrowed slightly and her arms were crossed over her chest, making it clear that her politeness was not truly sincere.
