Appearance:

Standing at four feet ten inches, Martha hasn't quite finished growing yet, though she is still of a generally small build. She has dark brown hair and blue eyes. When not in uniform, she tends to wear muggle fashions, though as long as it's fashionable, she doesn't have a particular preference. She is right handed.

History:

1871. Martha is born the third child and second daughter to Frederick and Adeline Flack. She has a very normal, upper class upbringing. 

1873. Ruth is born.

1876. Andrew leaves for Hogwarts. Martha is less sad to see her brother go--he was going through a phase of being most annoying--and more jealous that exciting things weren't happening to her. The resulting tantrum causes her first sign of magic and gets her a new doll. Whether the doll was to pacify her or reward her was unclear.

1877. The family moves to Hogsmeade.

1880. In February, Martha's aunt, Esther Abbott, is widowed and comes to live with them. She's really more of an unofficial nanny than a guest, so Martha isn't really sure how she's meant to treat her. In the fall, Ella leaves for Hogwarts, having a late birthday.

1882. At last, it is Martha's turn. She's off to Hogwarts, where she is sorted into Slytherin. She is a decidedly average student, though she doesn't see the harm in that, since she hardly plans to work. Eww.

1883. Andrew graduates.

1884. Martha's immediate family survives the plague and the fire, at least. Ruth begins school, and Aunt Esther begins working as a matron at Hogwarts. This horrifies Martha, who thinks it's embarrassing, and is relieved at least that no one can tell they're related by their names. She is also grateful to not be in Gryffindor. Finally, it being her third year, she chooses Arithmancy and Ancient Studies as her electives.

1885. Present day.
