Oh bugger. In what world was she going to beat the Head Boy? Especially when he could do impressive things with fire and she could not. Buggerbuggerbuggerbugger. But Madam Bennett wouldn't just sulk would she?!

Biting her lip Penny opted for the opposite and created a stream of water that would hopefully take the form of a snake.

Good Merlin were both spells well-executed. She adored seventh year duels, really. Rose beamed and announced: "Excellent, both of you! Mr. Gallivan has the edge and will take the point - Miss Darrow, please begin the second round at your leisure."

Theodore grinned at that small success; now to match Miss Darrow's second display. The flames having died down, he attempted engorgio skullus upon the dummy, that enlarging its head might see it topple over, unbalanced.

Both spells were again very well done, and again Mr. Gallivan had the edge. "Mr. Gallivan takes the duel - excellent showing, both of you!" Rose said, genuinely delighted with how this had gone.
