@'Odira Potter' I saw your update and thought that it'd be fun to have Zippy bother Ginny. I'll make this prettier when I'm not relying on a mousepad. Maybe.

    Dearest Miss Carmichael,

How are you? I have not heard of you in a while. It is terribly cruel of you to leave me all alone, Miss Carmichael. Your company is one of the few I enjoy these days, and you abandon me like that! Oh, ignore what I have just written you; it is a terrible attempt at a joke. It seems that I have lost my sense of humour as well as my ability to walk properly!

But I digress - I still want to make sure that you are alright. It is the season of colds, not to mention that there's this new illness that turns people different colours - my sister, Miss Deborah, turned red, you know. You have not turned red, or blue, or magenta, have you? I promise not to laugh if you have! As if a cripple can make fun of others!

If you are indeed in good health, and in the mood for it, shall we arrange for an outing? We could spectate the dueling tournament tomorrow, or go for a cup at Rose & Thistle.

    Yours,
    Zipporah Keaton

    My dear Miss Keaton,

I thank you for worrying about me, and do apologize if my absence has caused you distress! I have been, perhaps, a bit under the weather, but for the most have simply been focusing on spending time with my family.

It seems that I have missed a great deal in my absence! I should be very happy to meet for tea and hear all about it—in the new year. Until then, I truly do believe that it is for the best that I remain close to home and continue to spend time with my extended family.

    Fondly,
    Virginia Carmichael

    My dear Miss Keaton,

I do feel as if I have been a dreadful friend of late. I did in fact hope that we might get together this month, but I have felt so positively dreadful—you know that I hate to complain, but I have found myself to be so very tired of late.

I should love nothing more than to rectify this, and so wonder if you might come with me to Twilfit and Tatting’s next week. Mother has convinced me that I ought to attend the Lyttons’ ball next month and arranged for a new dress to mark the occasion, and I have a fitting scheduled. I would be very pleased indeed if you would come along and offer me your opinion!

    Fondly,
    Virginia Carmichael

    My dear Miss Carmichael,

There is nothing I'd rather do than spend some time with you, Miss Carmichael! It's been too long since we've spent some time together. I've missed your company! I am really sad to hear that you've been under the weather lately, and I am glad that you are finally feeling well enough to be out and about.

    Yours truly,
    Zipporah Keaton

    My dear Miss Keaton,

Wednesday, then, if that does not conflict with your own schedule. Perhaps we might go for tea afterwards? I should very much like to learn about what has been keeping you busy since we last met!

    Fondly,
    Virginia Carmichael
