"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
How are you finding your new husband? I trust that you are taking well to married life; if not, please let me know so that I can do whatever is in my power to help ease your transition. As I'm sure you know, my house is always open to you; and if you should ever need peace and quiet, feel free to lock my wife inside her bedroom. Only please take care to let the house elves know to feed her.
My husband is very much as expected - not terribly interesting so far, but he will serve well enough. I will most definately alert you should he prove to be sub par; however, I do not foresee any problems. If I need a respite I will be sure to take advantage, and to only deprive your wife so far as it is amusing but not actually harmful to get used to you.
Yours Fondly,
Tatiana
Tatiana is publicly a proper and respectable young lady and is very good at hiding who she really is. Please discuss it with me before having your character see through her facade.
There are much worse things than an uninteresting husband; sometimes I wish I had found a less interesting wife. No, of course I don't mean that seriously, but I suppose I had always assumed that the amount of time and effort necessary to be married would be equivalent to what it took to court her, while she was in school, and as you can imagine our relationship is quite a bit more involved than that now. If your husband is boring, though, at least you will have plenty of free time. There certainly are worse things.
Do you know how to go about hiring a wet-nurse? The baby won't be here for months yet, but I have no idea how to start the process. It seems like the sort of thing one should take more care with than just taking out an ad in the paper. I don't want anyone in my house filling my child--or my wife's--head with nonsense about blood equality or other such rubbish. If I entrust the task to Antigone it will almost certainly be a disaster.
