I enclosed some earrings that I must say I have no idea how they got mixed into my things, but that I am fairly certain are a pair I remember seeing you adorn on occasion.

Dear Tatty,

I hope you are well and that the horrid women you are forced to encounter daily at that school haven't truly driven you mad yet.

I wish you could have seen the wretched woman I encountered merely an hour ago. She was saturated in a vile combination of cheap perfumes and liquor. The wench attempted to swipe the brooch I was wearing right off of me with some slight of hand when she so gracefully walked straight into my path at the last second.

I'm writing to you from her dismembered side as the sight so beautifully reminded me of you. I normally keep such things for myself to reflect back upon later but the flecks of blue that adorned her earrings match your eyes so well that I felt inclined to gift them to you.

Cissa,

I am quite well; I actually enjoy things here, although they do get dull. At least Aunt Olivia does not allow mudbloods into the school, and in that way it is better than Hogwarts ever has been.

That sounds so very wretched, but I am glad that you managed to turn it into an enjoyable experience. I adore the earrings, and I shall very much enjoy wearing them.

I have no similar recent experiences to share. The downside of being at finishing school is that there is a dearth of easily disposable people. My last was a maid just after Christmas, and most unfortunately quick. My next opportunity is likely to be on my honeymoon, but I doubt there will be anything else which interests me to pass the time.
