Thank you for your thoughtful letter and the beautiful gifts. I shall use your quill for my next examinations, for I am certain that it will bring me good luck! I do not begrudge you for being busy - if anything it makes me happy to know that I will wed a man who works hard, for it shows that our family will lack nothing!

Will your busy schedule allow for your appearance at the Hogwarts ball? I would be delighted to give you my first dance.

I'm glad to hear the quill is to your liking, I admit I wasn't entirely sure what would be appropriate. With only a little over a week left, you must be excited. Though it has been a while now I remember the anticipation of graduation.

If you would like for me to attend the debut I will certainly make all of the necessary arrangements to attend. It would be my pleasure to accompany you for the first dance. I look forward to it.
