    SQUIB WINS MAGIC CARPET

    FINDS HIMSELF VERY PERPLEXED

A couple weeks ago, the Daily Prophet held a competition whereby to be up for the chance of winning a prize, one had to answer a series of grueling questions about quidditch. The prizes included a trip to Queerditch Marsh, a broomstick polishing kit, and a flying carpet.

Fancying his chances at winning the day out to the historic birthplace of Quidditch, Mr. Goodfellow the squib, entered his answers and won. However, he won the flying carpet (a six-seater no less!)

instead. When his flying carpet arrived, Mr. Goodfellow found himself utterly perplexed:
"Well you see, I'm a squib and my wife's a muggle so neither of us can do much with a flying carpet. I've been a big follower of quidditch since I was a boy and so I was really hoping I might win that free trip to Queerditch Marsh. I suppose I could use the flying carpet as a rug or wall hanging..."

Mr. Goodfellow later sold his magic carpet and used some of the money to visit Queerditch Marsh.
