Charming is a Victorian Era Harry Potter roleplay set primarily in the village of Hogsmeade, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the non-canon village of Irvingly. Characters of all classes, both magical and muggle — and even non-human! — are welcome.
With a member driven story line, monthly games and events, and a friendly and drama-free community focused on quality over quantity, the only thing you can be sure of is fun!
"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.

Dearest Brother,
How have you been this past few months? How has quidditch been? You're still enjoying it I presume. Good luck on your games!
Are you planning to come home for the holidays? I hardly saw you during summer. Christmas won't be fun when you are not home. Do you not feel lonely in London?
And do you have any idea on what our sisters and parents would like as a gift? I'm planning to buy them on our trip to Hogsmead next weekend.
I've been doing quite alright these past few months! Quidditch always helps to keep my days bright and full of things to do. Despite living away in London i'd hardly say it gets lonely. Don't forget that I am living with some of my friends from school so I am rarely without some form of company.
Of course I'll be coming round for Christmas! Perhaps even on one of the days I don't have quidditch practice the two of us could go out and get you away from the madness that is our sisters.
As far as gifts are concerned I'd suggest you ask Febs for any serious ideas. I fear any suggestions I may make are more then likely to come from a revenge outlook based on some of the gifts I've received from them in recent years.
How's school been treating you? I hope you aren't letting having Divination as one of your classes go to your head!
Love, August
August is currently recovering from amnesia. For the past year and seven months he's been living under the name "Peter" as a LC muggle. He is very slowly remembering bits and pieces of his old life, and thusly will probably not recall your character at all as of right now.
I’m glad to know that you are fine despite not having Mother’s delicious meals. I feel slightly jealous that Papa has allowed you to live in London. London must be much more fun than Hogsmeade especially since you stay with your friends. Oh well more food for me!
That’s great to hear! I would enjoy sometime away from our sisters. As much as I love them, I do feel annoyed at their presence at times. How long has it been since we’ve bonded?
Are you sure you don’t want to suggest anything? I’m sure that our dear sisters would enjoy receiving something fun for the holidays. And you’re just the right person I need to ask! I think that Febby’s ideas would be too predictable compared to yours.
Hogwarts is fine. You know Peeves making mischief here and there. I did thought of taking Divination as one of my electives. Though it would only be for research as to why Amber and Nova are crazy about the subject. But in the end I was too scared of becoming obsessed with Tea-leaf reading and staring at twigs that would somehow predict the end of the world.
