Appearance:

Bash stands at a measly 4 ft. 7 in. and is jealous that his elder sisters are taller than him. He often points this out with an audible huff, barring the moment he may be recognized as an equal or given proper leadership. Given the races of both his parents, his skin is a light brown which flawlessly accompanies his darker toned hair and eyes. His ears, promptly positioned outwards, are a notable feature and are often shown as his short to medium length hair is swept behind them. He has a thin build that is adorned with typical style associated with children his age. He is right handed.

History:

1875 | Bash is born to father Balthazar and mother Mary. Initially, his sisters aren’t relatively fond of his arrival, however his exuberant behavior dispels any vicious glares sent his way.

1880 | The family moves to Hogsmeade. Bash enjoys this as the other little boys are much more fun to play with here than in London. There were plenty of possibilities in this town that he rather looked forward to taking advantage of - most notably the sweets shop.

1882 | His eldest sibling Delight heads off to Hogsmeade. He is excited to possibly join her some day though refrains from showing too much emotion as he hasn’t shown signs of magic yet. He knew that Topaz hadn’t either at this point and instead teased her, saying he had levitated several objects prior. He was scolded by his parents but escaped punishment by batting his eyelashes and saying how much he loved them. With his increasing age, he was thrown into interactions with his cousin Ethan McGonagall. Initially, the dislike of his cousin was due to being forced together, however after much observation, Ethan’s behavior was rather similar to his. Bash began giving him the cold shoulder as a result, trying to separate himself from the boy in order to enjoy his interests separately and independently. Typically, in a normal situation, one would bond over similarities, but Bash saw Ethan as someone who was trying to copy him or mimic his actions, which quickly developed the boy into an annoyance to Bash.

1883 | He displays his first signs of magic by making his bed float in the air when he spots a rather horrific insect approach him. He slams down shortly after and is accused of horseplay. Again, he is able to escape any formal reprimanding with his devious ways.

1884 | Come February, the twins James and Adam are born. In march, the Minister is murdered to which his father responds by running for the position. Bash is hopeful for him and wishes to represent the family to the best of his ability because, of course, he felt he was the only suitable candidate to do so. His father wins the Ministerial campaign after all and Bash is overwhelmed with thoughts of grandeur.

1885 | Causing quite the scare to the family, Balthazar was mistaken as dead in an article towards the beginning of the year. Bash was quite glad that the article had been false as, unfortunately, his mother passed due to an adder bite. Everyone was distraught, him especially, and having his father there was somewhat comforting. Due to the new profession, Balthazar had mitigated a majority of his time away from the children, leaving them to a nanny. Bash hadn’t liked this arrangement but figured it was the only thing that could be done.

1886 | Bash is looking forward to attending school in the fall, however is dreading seeing his cousin there and hopes he won’t have to be in his company for long.

Personality:

Sebastian is a rather mischievous and adventurous boy who is able to charm himself out of most punishments. He’s been given a privileged life and, if he suspects someone is taking advantage of this or tries too hard to befriend him, he may react coldly and pay no attention to them. He’s not a great fan of change but will deal with it if necessary. As such, first encounters remain skeptical in his eyes, especially with the opposite sex or similarly acting boys, which may result in teasing on his end - playfully of course.
