Has light brown hair and  green eyes. Dresses in clothes appropriate for a man of his status, though can be frequently found in the robes required for his teaching position. Right-handed. History: 1846 — Edgar is born the first child to Herbert and Juniper Pomfrey. He sleeps through the nights without much of a problem, and is unusually silent for an infant. 1848 — Edgar's parents introduce him to another child they claim to be his sister. Her name is Edwina Pomfrey and she's unremarkable in the eyes of the toddler. 1850 — Edgar shows his first sign of magic after causing cabinets to open and close during a tantrum after he's scolded for wandering into the family kitchen while the servants were at work. While his mother scolds him for disobedience, it is overshadowed by the joy and sheer excitement she feels seeing her son perform magic! 1853 — Mayhem strikes when Edgar gets a hold of, and refuses to return, one of the servants' wands. His mother, who was conveniently sitting in the other room with friends enjoying a cup of tea, hears the commotion and promptly disarms him without much trouble. 1857 — Edgar goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Slytherin. He frequently combats the negative stereotypes associated with Slytherin by being as friendly and open-minded as he can be. His favorite classes are Charms, Potions, and Defence Against the Dark Arts, while his least favorites as History of Magic, Herbology, and Astronomy. 1859 — Edgar adds Muggle Studies, Ancient Runes, and Arithmancy to his class schedule. All three prove equally satisfying, though he does struggle in Ancient Runes. 1862 — Edgar takes his OWLs and gets satisfactory scores. He chooses to go into his sixth year with Charms, Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Arithmancy, and Muggle Studies. His sixth year, while busy, is wholly uneventful. 1864 — Edgar graduates from Hogwarts after taking his NEWTs. He goes to work in the Muggle Liaison following graduation, unsure of what his desired career path is. By the end of the summer, he finds himself unhappy with the paperwork and finds himself working as an Obliviator in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. 1869 — Edgar's younger sister finds herself married to a handsome, respectable gentleman who takes her far away from home. While Edgar misses his only sibling greatly, he's happy that she's found happiness of some sort. 1877 — British muggles become aware of the magical community's existence and Edgar's family goes into hiding. They make their home in the newly-established magical village of Hogsmeade, where they have no non-magical neighbors. While Edgar himself has no issues with muggles, he feels they're all much safer away from them, especially in the current political climate. 1880 — Edgar's father dies from what is essentially old age. The family enters mourning, but no one takes it as badly as Edgar's mother. Still living in the family's home, he works to support and console his mother. 1884 — Edgar's mother almost dies during the Hogsmeade laughing plague. Luckily, she recovers quickly. 1885 — Edgar makes a risky decision to leave his job at the Ministry to take a post at Hogwarts as the Charms professor. He feels this job will allow him to stand out more in the community despite making less money. 1887 — Edgar contemplates finding a wife, but feels weird with the countless debutantes that he used to teach.
