    Miss Turnbull,

I apologize if this seems forward but I thought I'd write you using that ink you picked out for me. I hope this finds you well as I know should have written sooner to inquire as to how you were feeling after the minister's wedding, but I was pulled just days later to North America for work. Unfortunately I can't tell you any more than that, such is the nature of being an Unspeakable.

I returned last week, but I was not completely done with the work for it until last night. It was quite extensive and after a good night's rest, I thought I would finally write. I earned a few days off after that extended period of straight work and while it was nowhere nearly as tiresome and lengthy as our time on the trail, I am quite tired. It will be spent catching up on some reading and some paperwork, but I was wondering if perhaps we could have tea one afternoon this week?

    Fondly,
    Claude Lestrange

      Mister Lestrange,

Thank you kindly for your concern over my health, but I assure you I am quite well. The autumnal air does wonderful things for health. On another note, I must admit that I do admire the ink that I picked out. The subtle blue looks very nice.

Worry not about the delay in your letter. I was quite surprised to receive one at all, let alone one from a man such as yourself. I would, of course, enjoy to have tea with you one afternoon. Please send a reply owl so I may make the necessary arrangements.

    Miss Turnbull,

Brilliant, I was thinking if you could find a chaperon that we could meet at the Rosa Lee Teabag the day after tomorrow? I would invite you to my own home, but despite the fact that Theresa, my housekeeper, keeps everything very clean, she has the next two days off to do some traveling to see her family so I fear we would have no refreshments as I am quite the disaster in the kitchen.

So, the day after tomorrow at Rosa Lee Teabag, say about one o'clock in the afternoon? I have never been there before, but I have heard good things.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,
    Claude Lestrange

      Mister Lestrange,

That sounds absolutely lovely. I daresay our friend Mrs. Gray shall not be with us on our outing. I will see you there. Until tomorrow,

      Miss Euphemia Turnbull
