Please, please, please don't send me a howler for this but I just wanted to let you know that for the next few days I'll be on my honeymoon. I know you'll be upset to hear that I got married today without the family present but you have to trust that it was the best course of action. Her name is Ethelyn - yes, Kitten's former nanny - and we had a nice private ceremony. I left Kitten with Hamish this morning and I expect you'll help him out because I know how much you love your grandchildren.

I'll bring Ethelyn by to meet everyone when our honeymoon is over. Love you, please don't be too angry.
