Appearance:
Gaston has dark hair and blue eyes. He is quite tall at a precise 6'0" with a slightly muscular build. His wand hand is his right hand. He always keeps his appearance neat and clean. He prefers the typical suits of an upperclass man and of the era when not on the clock. When he is at work, he wears wizarding robes for their ease of movement and practicality though he still makes sure that they are made of the best fabrics.
History:
April 20, 1852 - 1863 - Gaston Darby is born into a pampered and spoiled childhood, he is a second son but fifth and final child. His childhood is largely devoid of any major events worth noting. It was as happy as any tragedy free childhood can be. At the age of six, Gaston shows his first signs of magic to the delight of his proud parents.

1863 - Gaston goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Gryffindor. He finds his place within the house and surrounds himself with those that he determines as being the best of the crop of first years. He leads the typical life of a first year student.

1864 - Gaston attempts to try out as seeker for the Quidditch team and is denied due to his developing size that makes him not an ideal seeker. Also, there was another Seeker hopeful that performed superbly better than him though he won't admit this to himself.

1865 - Gaston tries out again as a Beater but is outshone by more talented players. He finally gives up on ever joining the Quidditch team but is a bit bitter about it though he manages to hide this well. For his electives, he chose Ghoul Studies, Care of Magical Creatures and Earth Magic.

1867 - Gaston gets over his bitterness about the Quidditch team as his fifth year supplies list arrives with a shiny prefect badge. Gaston takes his OWLs and recieves the following scores:

Charms: Outstanding
Defense Against the Dark Arts: Outstanding
Herbology: Exceeds Expectations
History of Magic: Dreadful
Potions: Exceeds Expectations

1868/1869 - Gaston retains his prefect badge and continues on with Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Potions and Transfiguration since they are the only courses he's able to continue on with anyway. After some thought throughout 1868, he decided to work towards being a healer. He really cracked down on his studies and matured as any typical boy his age would be expected to.

1870 - Gaston is disappointed when he isn't made Head Boy but is content enough with being the seventh year Prefect so he doesn't sulk over it for very long. He takes his NEWT examinations and recieves the following scores:
Charms: Exceeds Expectations
Defense Against the Dark Arts: Outstanding
Herbology: Exceeds Expectations
Potions: Outstanding
Transfiguration: Exceeds Expectations

Gaston began an internship at St. Mungos in the Summer of 1871.

1872 - After a year of being an intern, Gaston graduates to full healer. He is pleasantly surprised to find that he loves his job.

1872-1877 - Gaston works as a St. Mungos Healer in their equivalent of a spell damage department and leads a highly uneventful life. At the very least, he is incredibly discreet about any indiscretions in his private life.

1877 - After the upheaval between muggles and magical folk, Gaston is all too happy to move to an entirely magical community. When Hogsmeade Hospital is founded, Gaston is among the first Healers to seek employment there and continues his healing career.

1877- January 1883 - Gaston contentedly continues to work as a healer.

1884 - Gaston has finally decided that it might be time he tried finding a wife and popping out a few kids. These plans are put on hold when, in August, Gaston's older brother, Louis, dies due to the laughing plague, leaving him the heir along with other legal responsibilities.

1885 - Gaston leaves his job to fully focus on tending to his new 'responsibilities'.
