    Mr de Montfault,

I was so pleased to have received my brother's letter--not only for the assurance of my brother's safety, but also for the confirmation of your survival. I am glad to hear you are safe, and pray you are unhurt. You have been such a good friend to my brother, and I have every faith in his safety knowing that he is under your protection.

    Yours,

    Andromeda.

    My Dear Miss Parkinson,

It makes me happy to know that you consider me worthy of your brother's friendship. I could never possibly allow for any harm to befall him, if I could help it myself!

I am very glad to learn that you are well. I would have hated it if you were a victim of that dreadful plague and fire! It is nice to know that at least one friend has escaped this prison.

    Sincerely,

    Javert de Montfault

    Mr de Montfault,

Has it been so awful? My brother writes so optimistically of your situation but as beautiful as your theatre is, I cannot imagine that it is especially comfortable? Do you have adequate warmth? Please do not hesitate to ask me for anything. The Leaky Cauldron may not be the St. Pancras Hotel but there are plenty of blankets and Honeydukes is a mere walk away!

    Yours,

    Andromeda Parkinson.

    My Dear Miss Parkinson,

You should not worry yourself about us! There are some spare blankets around here and while it is hardly comfortable to sleep on the floor, your brother and I have truly managed to explore our artistic capabilities. I believe that if he pursued it, Orpheus would become an excellent playwright and you should be quite proud to have him as your brother.

    Sincerely,

    Javert de Montfault

    Mr de Montfault,

A playwright? I confess, I am dreadfully proud of my brother but I had not known he was such an artistic soul. Perhaps the Ministry is not the place for Orpheus after all?

Pray tell, Mr de Montfault--what exactly is your talent? Will you be taking to the stage, or joining my brother behind the scenes? I suspect you would make an excellent Tristan.

    Yours,

    Andromeda Parkinson.

    My Dear Miss Parkinson,

I would only be a good Tristan if I had the right Isolde.

    Sincerely,

    Javert de Montfault

    Mr de Montfault,

My governess always did say I had great dramatic potential--if the current circumstances in Hogsmeade leave you bereft of a professional, of course. Perhaps with the right instruction?

    Yours,

    Andromeda Parkinson.

    My dear Mr. de Montfault,

Such a thoughtful gift has already made my current lodgings all the bearable--please accept a similar token of my esteem. I pray it brings you some comfort in your prison.

    Yours,

    Andromeda Parkinson.

    My dear Mr. de Montfault,

Your gifts have given me more joy than I could possibly express. The only thing that could possibly bring me more comfort would be to see you again. Until then, keep this gift close to your heart.

    Yours,

    A.S.P.
