And Bad Poetry, Too

I'm kidding!! I've been pretty busy since we ran into each other in town anyway. But! I found a thing I thought you might like... there's this magical plant in Paraguay that I saw on my last trip that they call Marandu vines. If you put a message on a piece of paper and you put it in the ground near the roots, after a few hours the paper will disappear, and then if you walk up and talk to the plant, or breathe on it, or whatever, what you wrote will show up on the leaves. Anyway, these are some of the seeds from that plant--I remember being very frustrated in school that I could never say what I meant in letters, and while this isn't incredibly useful in a lot of situations I figured you might like it anyway.

Sorry, I've been kind of dealing with a lot the last few months. Keeping up with old friends has not exactly been at the front of my mind. Speaking of, how's your friend doing?

The plant is really interesting; I'll definitely be planting it! Have you come across any other interesting things in your travels? And did I tell you that I'm wanting to be a cursebreaker after school? I think it combines my interests very nicely.

I'd like to run into you again soon. I'm usually free the mornings of Hogsmeade trips, but I'm spoken for in the afternoons.

Oh, I think he's doing alright. We don't really talk so much anymore--that's probably one of the only bad things about my job, is that when you travel so much it's kind of hard to keep in touch with people. And just graduating from school makes it--different, you know. Like you're an adult now and your whole relationship changes and it's hard to keep up with. You probably know what that's like already, I imagine.

I'd love to meet up sometime! Especially if you want to be a cursebreaker; I can tell you all about what I do day-to-day. When are the Hogsmeade weekends? I don't have anyone that close that's still in Hogwarts so I get out of the loop on these things. Glad you like the plant!

I suppose if you really wanted to keep in contact with someone, you would manage it — or, at least I hope that is the case, as I have people I very much want to keep in contact with after I finish my schooling.

The next one is March 14, and as I said, my afternoons are spoken for. We just had the February one on Valentine's Day, although I think that was poor planning as we had a ball that night for the Pan-Magical Games. We could definitely talk in the morning, though, and I could pick your brain a bit about cursebreaking.
