Appearance:

Atticus’ body can easily be described as ‘average’ across the board, reaching a height of five feet and seven inches with a slim, but not particularly muscular, frame. His black hair is kept short, and his eyes are as dark a brown as his skin. Being a muggle, he wears exclusively muggle clothing, doing his best to keep a neat—though not necessarily fashionable—appearance. He is right-handed.

History:

1851 | Atticus is the first child born to Malachi, an innkeeper and would-be scholar, and his wife Elizabeth.
1853 | Belladonna is born.
1858 | Guinevere is born. This year, Atticus’ father begins educating him at home, thinking it superior to any education he might get in the local school of their small village.
1860 | Xavier is born.
1864 | The family is baffled when a representative from Hogwarts arrives to tell them their eldest daughter is a witch. Belladonna goes off to the strange school in September, and is sorted into Hufflepuff—though Atticus is not entirely certain what that actually means. One of the staff at the inn casually begins teaching Atticus the fiddle in his spare time.
1871 – 1883 | Atticus finds work as a lawyer’s assistant in the village. He meets a grand total of one young lady that catches his eye, but her family is not wholly pleased by the color of his skin, so it doesn’t work out.
1873 | Belladonna marries Jonathan, a wizard she met at school.
1875 | Belladonna delivers a healthy baby girl.
1878 | And another.
1880 | And a healthy baby boy. Guinevere is married shortly thereafter.
1883 | Belladonna writes to him in a panic, saying that her husband has been convicted for defiling a house elf. Atticus isn’t sure what that is, but he is quite certain that it is a most unsavory act, and so he moves to London to be closer to his sister. After a few months, they decide to move to the community of Irvingly so that her husband might struggle to find her when he is inevitably released from imprisonment, and open up an inn called The Irvingly Arms the following year.
1885 | Though still rather wary of this whole magic thing, Atticus enjoys life alongside his sister and her family in the home they’ve made for themselves.
